Marvel Studios has officially registered the first teaser trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ with international classification boards, confirming its imminent debut. The Korea Media Rating Board listed the footage yesterday with a precise runtime of 1 minute and 25 seconds, marking it as one of the shortest introductory teasers in the franchise’s history. Brazilian rating authorities have also classified the clip, corroborating the approximate length and clearing it for theatrical exhibition.

The confirmed runtime suggests a strategy focused on tone and character reveals rather than extensive plot details. This approach mirrors the marketing campaign for ‘Avengers: Endgame’, which utilized minimal footage to maintain secrecy surrounding the narrative. The teaser is widely expected to be attached to theatrical screenings of ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’, which opens globally on December 19.

This first look will serve as the official re-introduction of Robert Downey Jr. to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, this time in the role of the antagonist Doctor Doom. The Russo Brothers, who previously helmed ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’, returned to direct the film, with principal photography having wrapped at Pinewood Studios in September 2025. The project is currently deep in post-production to meet its scheduled release date of December 18, 2026.

While rumors circulated earlier in the week regarding an immediate online drop, current industry reports indicate Disney may prioritize a theatrical-first window to maximize the impact of the ‘Avatar’ partnership. The 85-second preview is expected to offer audiences their first glimpse of the new threat facing the Multiverse, setting the stage for the conclusion of the Multiverse Saga in the subsequent film, ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.
