HBO’s ‘Industry’ Welcomes Dianna Agron for Final Season Fans of ‘Glee’ Will Love
Financial dramas rarely maintain their edge for long, but ‘Industry‘ has spent five years demonstrating its ability to keep the tension high. As the HBO series approaches its fifth and final season, it has been quietly assembling one of its most impressive guest lineups yet.
Filming for the eight-episode concluding chapter began earlier this month in the United Kingdom, with returning stars Myha’la, Marisa Abela, and Kit Harington reprising their roles as Harper Stern, Yasmin Kara-Hanani, and Lord Henry Muck. The show has also been gradually introducing new cast members to shape its finale.
Among the latest announcements is a name that will certainly attract attention beyond the finance-drama audience. Dianna Agron, widely recognized for her breakout role in ‘Glee,’ is joining ‘Industry’ Season 5, stepping into the high-stakes world of finance as Skip Binksy, the CFO of a wellness tech company.
Agron isn’t entering the ensemble alone. She’s accompanied by a host of new castmates, including Cary Elwes as investor Padgett Stillman, Sam Riley as the elusive Silicon Valley businessman Solomon Kerr, and Jessica Brown Findlay as Marina St. Clair, described as a family friend of Sir Henry Muck.
Completing the new additions are Luke Manley as execution trader Stevie Delmonte, Bally Gill as left-wing politician Nikesh Shah, and Eduard Poliakov as trader Olexij Kovalchuk. Together, these newcomers indicate that ‘Industry’ is broadening its focus beyond the trading floor to explore the complex intersections of tech money, politics, and old wealth.
This expansion builds on earlier Season 5 casting news, which revealed Zosia Mamet as Carmen Dame, a fitness influencer turned wellness tech founder and CEO. With Agron’s character now identified as the CFO of a wellness tech company, fans are already speculating whether Skip Binksy and Carmen Dame are collaborating on the same startup or competing against each other.

The final season carries significant weight as ‘Industry’ prepares to conclude its run. When HBO announced the show would wrap up after Season 5, creators Mickey Down and Konrad Kay addressed the decision directly.
“For some time now we have been thinking about how best to end the show on an unparalleled high. Unlike some of our characters, we know when to leave a party,” Down and Kay said in a statement.
This sense of control over the ending aligns with a show that has built its reputation on precision, following Harper and Yasmin’s ascent through Pierpoint & Co. with meticulous detail that has transformed niche financial jargon into must-watch television. Season 4 only enhanced that reputation, drawing in viewership approximately 30 percent higher than Season 3 and averaging 1.7 million cross-platform viewers per episode.
With Agron, Elwes, and the rest of the new cast now confirmed, ‘Industry’ seems to be assembling every element necessary for a finale that lives up to its momentum. A premiere date for Season 5 has yet to be announced, but with filming already in progress in the UK, fans can expect details soon.
