It was based on a graphic novel, Sandcastle that tells the story of a group of tourists who went on a vacation. The main characters were a family of four. Guy and Prisca Cappa are a couple who are about to separate but decided to go on a family vacation with their kids Maddox and Trent one last time. 

Along with the family includes an ensemble of interesting characters from a rapper called “Mid-Sized Sedan” to surgeon Charles.  The catch is that the island makes people in it age faster. What causes them to age? Is there a conspiracy behind it? 

2. The Nobody

If you liked Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad, then you’d love the film Nobody. This film stars Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell in an action film wherein he stars as a former assassin trying to live a peaceful life.  

Hutch Mansell is now married with two children and is working in his father’s metal fabrication company. Then, one night, thieves entered his home, and hurt his family. Harry explained to his brother why he held back, explaining that the burglars seemed scared and desperate. 

Later that day, his daughter was trying to find the kitty cat bracelet. Hutch assumed that it was stolen. That’s when he borrowed his father’s old FBI badge to know where the burglars were. He then discovered the burglar only to find out that he has a sick baby. On his way home, he rode the bus but encountered a bunch of thugs harassing a woman. And the story will get crazier from here. Watch it for yourself and you’ll see a John Wick and Breaking Bad crossover. 

3. The Harder They Fall

Our list wouldn’t be complete without a Western film. The Harder They Fall is a story of revenge. Aside from the usual outlaws, it was a story of two men who were caught in a vicious cycle of violence to avenge their loss. It tells a story where both the hunter and the haunted are not exactly different from each other. 

4. The Wonder

Next on our list is The Wonder. This story is set in Ireland in 1862. It tells the story of a girl who stopped eating but is still miraculously alive. To verify the veracity of the story, English nurse Lib Wright was brought to watch the eleven eleven-year-old girl. 

The story attracted journalist William Byrne to cover the story. While Lib is a skeptic herself at first, she slowly fell under Anna’s spell and started to believe in miracles. 

5. Senior Year

Last on our list is the comedy film Senior Year. Similar to a real-life event, Senior Year stars Rebel Wilson. What makes it a different Rebel Wilson film is that she proved that she didn’t have to be fat to be funny. Here, you’ll notice how much weight Wilson lost, but still nailed the role doing what she does best. 

 She plays a high school cheerleader who falls into a coma right before her prom. Then after twenty years, she wakes up from the coma. However, she still thinks like a high school student and she vows to reclaim her status as prom queen. This movie stars the likes of Alicia Silverstone, Jade Bender, and Angourie Rice.

There are a lot of good films lined up in Netflix’s library. The good thing about Netflix is that it comes in different genres for different people.
