Josh Hartnett Makes Rare Social Media Appearance to Promote His New Film, But He Won’t Be There for Long
Fight or Flight is coming out on May 9, 2025 after having its UK premiere back in February. This action comedy has, so far, been praised by the critics, who are more or less satisfied by the film’s quirky and over-the-top premise.
This won’t be a major historical piece, but as far as action comedies go, it seems that the new movie will do what is needed to successfuly apply the formula for a good movie in this genre.
The movie’s biggest name is that of Josh Hartnett, who is the star of the movie and whose performance has been praised. Now, the actor has made a rare social media return to promote the movie.
Josh Hartnett has one of the more intriguing stories in Hollywood. A breakout star from about 15-20 years ago, Hartnett had the chance to become a major star, but at one point he completely “fled” and left Hollywood to focus on his private life, later claiming that it helped him a lot.
Now, Hartnett is back and he has been working on some major and interesting projects. And while Hartnett is back in the spotlight, he has retained his privacy, something he is notoriously known for safeguarding from the public, and that is why he is not a social media presence despite living in a world that thrives from that.
Still, as part of the promotion for his upcoming movie, Fight or Flight, Hartnett has made a rare social media comeback:
As you can see, this is not much and was posted via the movie’s official Instagram profile, but it does mark a return to social media for the actor whose last social media appearance was 10 years ago.
And while his fans will surely be happy to see him, Hartnett has confirmed that he will be “ghosting social media” once again and that fans shouldn’t expect to see him on there for another decade. At least.
This is a level of dedication and committment to oneself that we can only praise.
