Mike Colter is Seemingly Teasing his Return to ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Season 2 with the Latest Story

Mike Colter, who played Luke Cage in the old Marvel Netflix shows, recently posted a picture of his character on his Instagram Story. It didn’t take long for fans to start guessing that he might be showing up in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2.

After the post, a known scooper on X, shared a screenshot of the story and added a pair of eyes emoji, which only added more fuel to the rumors.

There have been rumors for a while now that the old Defenders might be making their return. In May, it was confirmed that Krysten Ritter, who played Jessica Jones, had joined the cast of the second season.

At the time, Marvel Studios’ Head of Streaming, Television, and Animation, Brad Winderbaum, talked to The Hollywood Reporter about the possibility of bringing back characters like Luke Cage and Iron Fist. He said, “It’s about not rushing and telling the best story. Yes, it’s exciting to think about characters interacting, but it’s about the reasons why. At times we’ve done that very well, at times we’ve rushed. The story has to lead the path.”

Right now, the second season of Daredevil: Born Again is being filmed in New York. Both Mike Colter and Finn Jones, who played Iron Fist, were reportedly in the city just a week ago. That’s led even more fans to believe that they’re not just visiting, they might actually be filming scenes for the show.
