Millie Bobby Brown Reveals Why She Refuses to Pay for Netflix
Millie Bobby Brown is undeniably one of the biggest stars to emerge from the streaming era. Between her breakout role as Eleven in Stranger Things and leading films like Enola Holmes and Damsel, she has become a staple of the Netflix platform.
Despite her massive success and an estimated net worth of around $20 million, the actress admits she is quite frugal when it comes to her viewing habits. In a recent interview, Brown surprised fans by revealing that she does not pay for her own Netflix subscription.
Speaking on Capital FM, the 21-year-old star confessed that she still relies on her parents for access to the streaming giant. When asked if she gets a free account as one of the company’s top talents, she gave a very relatable answer.
Brown explained that she simply refuses to pay the monthly fee because her parents already have an active subscription. She joked that she considers herself part of the “family deal” and sees no reason to open her own wallet for it.
“I kind of refuse to pay for the subscription because my parents pay, and I’m still a child in my eyes, and in their eyes,” she told the host. This admission came after it was mentioned that fellow actor Leo Woodall also still uses his mother’s login details.
The revelation has sparked amusement among fans who find it funny that a millionaire movie star operates just like a college student trying to save money. It seems that no matter how famous you get, sharing passwords with family remains a universal experience.
Do you still use a family member’s account to stream movies, or do you pay for your own subscription—tell us in the comments.
