‘Mobland’ Season 2 Trailer Reveals the Harrigans on the Brink of War
Guy Ritchie’s intense crime family drama is set to return to Paramount+ next month, and the newly released trailer indicates that the fragile stability the Harrigans fought to regain at the end of Season 1 is quickly unraveling. ‘MobLand’ emerged as one of the streaming platform’s standout hits during its debut season, combining Ritchie’s trademark stylish violence with a family dynamic that rivals even the most acclaimed dramas centered on dysfunction.
This blend of gangster spectacle and internal strife is driving excitement for the upcoming season. Season 1 concluded with patriarch Conrad Harrigan incarcerated after his arrest, leaving the Harrigan crime empire in a precarious state as rival factions began to close in.
Paramount+ has now unveiled the full trailer for ‘MobLand’ Season 2, confirming that both Conrad and his wife Maeve are back on the streets and ready to reclaim their business, although their family issues have escalated since we last saw them. Tom Hardy’s Harry Da Souza, the family’s sharp-tongued fixer, opens the trailer with a foreboding warning to his boss, stating that the family is in a death spiral, a sentiment that neither Conrad nor Maeve seems to take too seriously.
Despite the alarming warning, Harry continues to strive to protect the Harrigans from growing external threats, even as internal tensions rise. The trailer reveals that the family has already lost control of their fentanyl and heroin operations, leaving them vulnerable to rivals eager to dismantle what remains of their empire.
Conrad, for his part, shows no signs of backing down. The trailer features Brosnan’s character wielding a machine gun and vowing to give his enemies the war they desire, suggesting that Season 2 will delve even deeper into the show’s mix of blood-soaked action and family drama.
New and returning threats loom large throughout the footage, including cartel operative Kat McAllister, portrayed by Janet McTeer, who is seen in a tense exchange with Colin Tattersall, played by Toby Jones. According to the official Season 2 logline, the Harrigans will struggle to maintain a united front as rising rivals threaten their already fractured criminal empire, with Harry navigating an increasingly perilous tightrope as tensions within the family escalate alongside external chaos.

The internal conflict is set to deepen further, especially following Season 1’s cliffhanger where Eddie Harrigan learns that Conrad is actually his father, not his grandfather—a revelation that has yet to be fully explored on screen. Additionally, Maeve is reportedly working to turn Eddie against both Harry and Seraphina, indicating that the family’s already fragile loyalties are on the verge of complete collapse.
The second season will consist of 10 hour-long episodes, continuing the show’s ensemble approach with returning cast members including Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, and Anson Boon. Although the series has not yet been renewed for a third season, reports suggest that Hardy would be willing to return if Paramount+ decides to extend the story beyond Season 2.
With loyalties fracturing, cartel players circling, and Conrad seemingly prepared to meet chaos with even more chaos, ‘MobLand’ Season 2 appears poised to heighten everything that made the first season a success. ‘MobLand’ Season 2 premieres on Paramount+ on September 18.
