1. Rafiki (The Lion King)
An elderly mandrill monkey, he is the shaman for Mufasa and is the Royal Mjuzi of the Pride Lands.
A trusted adviser and very loyal to the royal family, he was saved by Ahadi, the father of Mufasa. This led him to dedicate himself to the royal family, being very useful also to Simba.
Showing a strong link to the spiritual world, his most famous scene includes showing Simba to the rest of the animals from Pride Rock upon Simba’s birth.
2. Rajah (Aladdin)
Princess Jasmine’s pet tiger, he was rescued from an abusive circus and will do anything for Jasmine. While not trusting of humans in general, he eventually warms up to Aladdin after realizing how close Jasmine and Aladdin are, and that Aladdin is nice to humans.
3. Ralph (Wreck-it Ralph)
A monster of a man, Ralph is the villain in a video game, often destroying an apartment complex that the Nicelanders live in. It turns out that he is misunderstood, and he gets sick of being ostracized and so sets out to be the good guy.
After jumping to a different game, Hero’s Duty, to win the Medal of Heroes, this results in panic for his original game, as the absence of Ralph means the game might get unplugged, ending the life of all the characters in the game.
Ralph is actually a sweet and laid back character who is sick of being looked down on.
4. Ramone (Cars)
The most stylish car in Radiator Springs, he’s married to Flo and is a wizard with paint jobs.
Based on a 1959 Chevrolet Impala, he is often seen with flame decals running down the sides. Part of Lightning McQueen’s pit crew, he specializes in paint jobs.
To improve his skills and do a bit of shameless self-advertising, he gives himself a paint doover every few weeks. He also has aftermarket hydraulics and is blinged out with chrome.
5. Ramsey (The Good Dinosaur)
A teenage dinosaur often seen with her brother Nash, she is a fearless Tyrannosaurus Rex rancher, keeping a herd of longhorns.
6. Rancis Fluggerbutter (Wreck-it Ralph)
Taking the form of a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, he is one of the many racers in the game Sugar Rush.
7. Randall Boggs (Monsters, Inc.)
Initially supported by Mike when they were students at Monsters University, Mike was instrumental in showing Randall that he could be a top scarer if only he used his camouflage ability more.
After losing to Sulley in the Scare Games during their time at university, he made it his mission to get one over Sulley. Jealous of Sulley’s success as a top scarer, he hatches a scheme to kidnap children so that he can be the top scarer.
Randall attempts to kill Sulley by attempting to strangle him using his supple body.
8. Rango (Rango)
After a pet chameleon becomes stranded in the Mojave Desert due to a car accident, he tries to get to safety by crossing the desert to get to an area that supposedly has water.
After some close encounters with death, he decides to reinvent himself as a tough bounty hunter and accidentally kills a hawk terrorizing a township, thus immediately getting promoted to be sheriff.
After discovering that the town’s mayor was actually manipulating the water supply to buy land for cheap, he is almost drowned by the mayor before hatching a plan with the gunslinger villain Rattlesnake Jake to save the town from the corrupt mayor.
9. Raphael (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle)
With the theme of red and using a pair of sais, Raphael is one of the toughest members of the bunch, quick to anger but very close to April O’Neil.
10. Rapunzel (Tangled)
Rapunzel has been locked away in a tower after the power of her long, golden hair became apparent and she was kidnapped by a witch who wants to use the powers contained within to keep from aging.
As the princess of the kingdom of Corona, she is a beautiful young woman with green eyes who is eventually rescued by the rogue Flynn Rider.

A blue and white spotted eagle ray, he is Nemo’s teacher and loves getting his passion for science across to his students.
He thinks hands-on learning is the best way, and often takes his pupils on excursions to help them learn.
12. Razoul (Aladdin)
A palace guard who is feared amongst everyone, especially the beggars around the palace walls who often are the target of his sadism, he uses his massive sword to perform executions and mete out punishment.
He is a very loyal servant to the Sultan.

A green remote control toy race car owned by Andy, RC Car sports blue water decals and a massive front bumpy, knobbly tires and a pair of headlights that double as eyes.
He is used by Woody to make Buzz look like an idiot, only for Buzz to get knocked out of the window. He, however, plays a vital role later on when he helps the toys get back into the moving truck when getting chased by Scud.

Seeing himself as a hero of the peasantry, he robs the tax caravans and gives the hard-earned wealth back.
Having strong feelings for another fox Maid Marian, who is King Richard’s niece, he finds it hard to get close to her due to the at times overbearing Lady Kluck.
His bravery and deeds are very popular with the people of Nottingham.
21. Rochelle (Planes)
A fictional plane with parts from a LearAvia Lear Fan’s fuselage, a Fouga Magister tail, a Williams V-Jet II cockpit, and the Cessna 402’s engines, she is El Chupacabra’s love interest but her singular focus on racing often leads to her ignoring him.
A Canadian plan, initially she was a mail plane, but her passion for delivering letters ever faster eventually got her drawn into the professional world of racing.
She has a white and light pink paint job with twin prop engines.

A Hungarian pillbug with an English ability that makes communication difficult, Roll has a twin Tuck. Playing the role of a cannonball in PT Flea’s circus, they argue a lot which leads to the ruin of the Flaming Death act and also destroys most of the circus itself.

A black widow spider who ironically possesses very strong mothering instincts, she is a lion tamer in PT Flea’s circus, although the lion is a rhinoceros beetle Dim.
Eventually being convinced by Flik to help the ant colony, Rosie helps Dot and Francis by making a web to transport the ants Flik, Dot, as well as her fellow performers Francis, Tuck, and Roll to safety.
27. Roz (Monsters, Inc.)
Very keen on having all paperwork filed properly.
Appearing as an elderly large slug with glasses, she doesn’t present as the happiest character. She is all green with a large mole on her chin, with a tuft of gray hair.
Her voice is grating and Mike is not very keen on her, mainly because he always forgets his paperwork.

As Carl’s house takes off due to the 10,000 balloons attached to it, Russell manages to hang on and then is begrudgingly helped up by Carl, joining him on his adventure.
Russell’s most powerful trait is his determination, meaning he never gives up even when the situation is hopeless, such as during the attack by Charles and the Dog Fighters.
In the end, it is his outgoing nature and strong spirit which reminds Carl of Ellie, meaning slowly and surely that Carl warms up to this boisterous child over time.

A slightly beaten up and corroded 1963 Dodge Dart, Rusty and his brother Dusty created a small empire which they use to sponsor race cars.
Eventually becoming successful business owners with factories all over the country, however they like working out of their mother’s garage so much they’re still there.
32. Rutt (Brother Bear)
A bull moose with a brother Tuke, they have issues with the hunter Denahi.
After meeting Kenai, they can’t quite understand that he was somehow transformed into a bear and was formerly a human. However, Denahi creates a lot of issues for Rutt, so he seeks out Kenai’s help.
With his mate Anda, Rutt escapes from the ruthless hunter by following Kenai’s advice.
