‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ Season 2 Trailer Sets January Premiere Date
The second season of the hit prequel series ‘My Hero Academia: Vigilantes’ has officially secured a release date following a new trailer reveal. Studio Bones confirmed that the anime adaptation will return to broadcast on January 5, 2026, anchoring the winter anime season lineup. This announcement arrives six months after the conclusion of the first season, which aired from April to June 2025.
The newly released promotional video showcases the return of illegal hero Koichi Haimawari, also known as The Crawler, as he continues to patrol the streets of Naruhata. The footage introduces a significant new addition to the cast, with voice actress Kana Ueda confirmed to play the character Monika Kaniyashiki. Returning cast members include Kazuyuki Okitsu, who reprises his role as the professional hero Fat Gum, indicating a continued intersection between the vigilante underworld and the licensed pro hero society.
Production details accompanying the trailer reveal the musical artists attached to the upcoming episodes. The opening theme, titled ‘Catch’, will be performed by Surii, while the rock band shytaupe provides the ending theme ‘Miss You’. Director Kenichi Suzuki remains at the helm of the production at Studio Bones, maintaining the creative team from the initial run.
