Lego’s Marvel and DC collections have kept enthusiasts engaged with a flurry of rumors throughout 2026. Recent leaks hint at a Lego PlayStation set featuring an Astro Bot bonus, nearly 20 new Star Wars builds, and several ‘Avengers: Doomsday’-themed sets, including a Sentinel Battle and New Avengers Tower. This ongoing stream of speculation continues with two exciting new sets reportedly joining the lineup.

In contrast to the recent Marvel leaks directly linked to ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ these two newly reported sets explore different areas of both universes. According to details from Lego leaker UniBricks, one set brings the Spider-Verse into physical form for the first time, while the other focuses on one of DC’s most iconic villains in a significantly oversized display piece.

The Marvel set, reportedly numbered 67016 and titled Peni’s Sp//der Mech, is expected to include minifigures of Peni Parker, Miles Morales, and The Spot. This build aims to showcase Peni’s signature mech from the ‘Spider-Verse’ films, although it remains unclear which version of the machine Lego intends to recreate, and no official piece count or pricing has been revealed yet.

On the DC side, the set numbered 67012 and titled Joker Art is described as an 18+ display build featuring 1,849 pieces, with a projected price of $169.99. Current leaks suggest a January 1, 2027 release date, making it a significant addition to Lego’s collection of adult-oriented art sets.

What sets the Joker Art set apart is its anticipated departure from the flat mosaic format that Lego has traditionally employed for superhero-themed art builds, such as the 2022 Jim Lee Batman Collection featuring Batman, Joker, and Harley Quinn. Instead, leaks indicate this new set will adopt a design style similar to the 2023 Amazing Spider-Man art set, which utilized a more three-dimensional portrait approach, making the character appear to physically break through the frame.

This shift toward dimensional artwork signifies a notable evolution for Lego’s villain-focused display pieces, potentially giving the Joker set a more dynamic presence than previous flat mosaic designs allowed. With its substantial piece count and premium price point, the set seems aimed at adult collectors and display-oriented builders rather than younger audiences.

The Peni Parker set would represent a significant first for Lego’s Marvel lineup, as the character has never had her own dedicated set within the theme, despite the growing popularity of the ‘Spider-Verse’ films. This absence has become increasingly noticeable as Lego has expanded its Spider-Verse offerings in recent years, including a dedicated minifigure series released in 2025.

While both sets remain unconfirmed by Lego, and details are primarily circulating through leaker accounts and database placeholders, fans should consider the specific piece counts, pricing, and release windows as speculative for now. However, given the accuracy of recent Lego leaks ahead of official announcements, both builds appear to be promising additions for collectors as we head into 2027.
