Noah Schnapp Reveals How the Stranger Things Cast Plans to Watch the Series Finale
Noah Schnapp, best known for his role as Will Byers, has shared some emotional details about how the Stranger Things cast intends to say goodbye to the show. During a recent appearance on Good Morning America, the actor revealed that the core group of stars has a special plan for the series finale.
According to Schnapp, the actors have decided not to watch the final episode ahead of time. Instead, they want to experience the conclusion at the exact same moment as their fans around the world.
He explained that the group, which includes Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink, will gather to view the episode together. Schnapp admitted he is actually quite nervous about the event because of the finality it represents.
“Once you watch that, it’s done,” Schnapp stated during the interview. He noted that this gathering will mark the last time they will ever premiere an episode as a collective unit.
The actor also confessed that reading the script was already an incredibly emotional experience for him. He predicts that watching the finished product with his co-stars will likely leave them “sobbing the rest of the day.”
In addition to the cast party, Schnapp has personal plans to view the finale in a theater with his real-life family on New Year’s Eve. He joked that he might need to wear a disguise to hide his reaction from the public.
The final episode of the beloved sci-fi series is scheduled to drop on Netflix on December 31. This release will officially bring the decade-long journey of the Hawkins crew to a close.
