Pedro Pascal Slams J.K. Rowling for Anti-Trans Views: “Heinous LOSER Behavior”
Pedro Pascal is speaking out strongly against J.K. Rowling’s recent comments about a new anti-trans law in the UK. The Last of Us actor called Rowling’s actions “heinous LOSER behavior” in a comment on Instagram this week.
The post he responded to came from Tariq Ra’ouf, who shared a video about the situation. Ra’ouf said Rowling’s support of the ruling was “that awful disgusting s–t, that has consequences.” Pascal agreed, repeating, “Awful disgusting S–T is exactly right,” and added, “Heinous LOSER behavior.”

The controversy started on April 17, when Rowling praised a U.K. Supreme Court decision. The court ruled that in the Equality Act, the words “women” and “sex” refer only to biological women and biological sex.
Rowling, who has made anti-trans statements in the past, celebrated the news by posting a photo of herself smoking a cigar and wrote on X, “I love it when a plan comes together.” She also used the hashtags #SupremeCourt and #WomensRights. The photo was a reference to the A-Team character Hannibal Smith.
Ra’ouf said Rowling’s actions are “some serious Voldemort villain s–t.” He also said, “She’s just so proud of all the work that she’s been doing over the last few years to stoke hatred and fear into the general public about a very small minority population that’s already some of the most misunderstood people on the earth.”
Other celebrities are also speaking up. Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan shared an article on Instagram this week criticizing Rowling’s views. She added, “Keep your new ‘Harry Potter’ lads. Wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole.”
Pascal and others are making it clear: trans rights matter, and hate has no place.
