‘Return to Silent Hill’ Reportedly a Short Movie in a 90-100 Minute Range

Return to Silent Hill is an upcoming psychological horror movie and the third installment in the Silent Hill film series. It is based on the popular video game Silent Hill 2. The film is directed and co-written by Christophe Gans and stars Jeremy Irvine and Hannah Emily Anderson.
The movie was officially announced in October 2022. Filming took place in Germany and Eastern Europe between April 2023 and February 2024.
The movie currently doesn’t have a set release date, but recent leaks shed some light on what the fans can expect. According to notable industry insider @Cryptic4KQual ‘Return to Silent Hill’ is reportedly a shorter film, with a runtime of approximately 90 to 100 minutes. This length is typical for many horror movies, which often aim to maintain a tight, suspenseful pace without unnecessary filler.
In the comments on their original post, the insider stated that he has no idea regarding the quality of the movie so far.
The film will follow James, a man struggling with heartbreak after being separated from the love of his life. One day, he receives a mysterious letter that leads him back to Silent Hill, a town filled with dark secrets.
Hoping to reunite with his lost love, James instead finds a place twisted by an unknown and evil force. As he explores, he encounters terrifying creatures—some familiar, some new. With his mind unraveling, he must fight to stay sane and strong enough to save the person he loves.
Jeremy Irvine plays James Sunderland, the main character searching for his lost love in Silent Hill. Hannah Emily Anderson plays Mary, while Evie Templeton takes on the role of Laura, a mysterious young girl in the story.
