‘Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow’ Set Leaks Reveal Earthbound Twist

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow has officially moved to outdoor filming, giving fans a fresh look at the production in action. Over the past few days, we’ve gotten our first glimpses of Supergirl’s new suit, some outer space setup, some flight scenes, and plenty of other interesting details.

Now, a new wave of set leaks has surfaced, courtesy of notable leaker @UnBoxPHD and their secondary account @UnBoxPHDFILM.

An insider shared a new video that appears to show “American Town” being set up on the set.

This is interesting since the vast majority of the ‘Woman of Tomorrow’ storyline takes place in outer space and other planets. Logically, we knew that at least some of the movies would be set on Earth since Supergirl would presumably have to interact with her cousin, but this intricate set certainly means that a lot of scenes will be filmed in it.

Until now, most of the movie’s filming has been done inside studios or in secret locations. That’s why we haven’t seen many pictures from the set. But now that Milly Alcock is filming outside, in public areas, more photos and even videos might start to show up online.

This also means we may get to see other characters from the movie soon, not just Supergirl. As they continue filming in real-world locations, it will be easier for fans and photographers to catch glimpses of the action.

Filming for Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow started in January 2025 at Warner Bros. Studios in England. Some scenes will also be shot in Iceland. The movie is expected to keep filming until May.

James Gunn and Peter Safran, the heads of the new DC Universe, said the movie was halfway finished at the end of February. So there’s still a lot more to come.
