‘Star Wars’ Collaborates With Fossil for ‘The Mandalorian’ Inspired Grogu Watch
Fossil has partnered with the ‘Star Wars’ franchise to unveil a new limited watch collection that brings characters from ‘The Mandalorian’ into wearable form. This launch, confirmed by Fossil, features two distinct designs inspired by Din Djarin and Grogu, with each watch showcasing detailed character themes and collector-focused attributes.
One of the highlight pieces is the Everett Mandalorian model. It boasts a larger 42MM gunmetal stainless steel case paired with a matching metal band. The design draws clear inspiration from Mandalorian armor, featuring layered dial elements that mimic beskar plating.
Additionally, it includes glowing hour markers and a custom-style hand design influenced by the Razor Crest ship. The back of the watch showcases engraved artwork related to the “Clan of Two,” enhancing its appeal for collectors.

The second model centers on Grogu. The Neutra Grogu watch features a smaller 38MM silver case and a soft suede strap that reflects the character’s robe-like appearance. Its dial is green-toned with luminous details and a more playful design aesthetic. The case also incorporates textured elements that resemble Grogu’s pram.

Both watches are offered as numbered limited editions and come in special packaging. According to Fossil, the boxes feature sound elements linked to the characters. One plays the phrase “This is the way,” while the other includes Grogu’s audio moments, complete with his signature giggle. Buyers will also receive collectible pins and certificates of authenticity.
The collection is set to launch on May 4 through Fossil’s official website and select stores.
These watches appear to target fans who appreciate detailed collectibles alongside practical accessories. The design effort is evidently strong, but the real question remains: how far should themed merchandise delve into novelty features like sound effects? While it adds personality, it may also lead some pieces to feel less like traditional watches and more like display items.
