Tom Brady Roasts Kevin Hart Over Cheating Scandal During Netflix Roast Event

Tom Brady surprised the audience at Netflix’s roast of Kevin Hart by referencing one of the comedian’s most significant personal scandals in front of a live crowd.

The former NFL star took the stage early during the event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, immediately launching into jokes aimed at Hart before the roast officially began. According to the live Netflix roast, Brady quipped about his hectic schedule before making a pointed reference to Hart’s past cheating scandal in Las Vegas.

“All right, this won’t take long, because, as you guys know, I’m a busy man,” Brady told the audience. “But I do have a few words for you before I return to my affairs in Las Vegas.” After the crowd reacted, Brady continued with his joke.

“Oh, wait, I’m talking about affairs in Las Vegas. Was that off? Not supposed to talk about affairs in Vegas? I think I broke another rule. Fuck it. I talked about it.” This jab referenced Hart’s 2017 cheating scandal involving his wife, Eniko Hart, during her pregnancy. Hart later admitted to cheating and publicly apologized for the incident.

Brady’s appearance was viewed as payback after Hart roasted him during Netflix’s celebrity roast in 2024. Before Brady took the stage on Sunday night, Hart had already begun taking shots at the retired football player while engaging with the audience.

“I’m gonna tell you right now, it’s gonna be way better than the Brady roast,” Hart stated. “The reason why is because I’m not a bitch. Tom is a bitch.” Hart continued to joke about Brady sitting silently during his own roast.

“Tom sat there the whole time with the fucking white man’s face,” Hart remarked. “He was a fucking bitch. I ain’t no bitch.”

The comedian also expressed his readiness for any insults thrown his way. “You go and say what you want to say. Say it. I don’t give a shit. At the end of the day, I’m Kevin Hart. I’m the man.”

Moments later, Brady walked onstage and quickly fired back. “Jesus, do you ever shut the fuck up?” Brady joked. “Have you even left the Forum, or have you just been here screaming into that mic the last two years waiting for daddy to come home?”

He then delivered another personal jab directed at Hart. “Well, unlike your real dad, I actually showed up,” Brady said, eliciting a loud reaction from the crowd as the two continued their playful banter throughout the night.

The roast featured a lineup of celebrities and comedians who took turns targeting Hart with sharp jokes. Guests included Chelsea Handler, Pete Davidson, Tiffany Haddish, and Regina Hall, among others.

Hosted by Shane Gillis, the live event was part of Netflix Is a Joke Fest. The roast was filmed at the Kia Forum and streamed live on Sunday night.

Despite the personal nature of some jokes, the event followed a similar format to Brady’s own roast from the previous year, where celebrities and comedians openly mocked various aspects of his life and career. This time, Hart found himself in the hot seat while Brady had the opportunity to return the favor in front of millions of viewers.
