Brooks Nader Avoids Wardrobe Malfunction Before ‘Baywatch’ Reboot Red Carpet
Brooks Nader experienced a near wardrobe disaster just moments before her red carpet debut at the FOX Upfronts 2026 in New York City, where she was promoting the highly anticipated ‘Baywatch’ reboot.
The incident was shared by Nader on her Instagram, revealing the chaos that unfolded just minutes before she was set to take the stage. The 29-year-old model and actress posted a mirror selfie showcasing her dress, which had ripped open at the back, leaving her in a last-minute scramble.
She humorously captioned the image, “When you bust out of your dress 4 minutes before showtime!!! Classssssicc,” accompanied by laughing emojis, highlighting the urgency of the situation.

In another post, she shared a glimpse of the quick fix that saved her outfit. Tailors and helpers were seen rushing to sew her dress back together, ensuring she could make it to the event on time. She captioned that moment, “We’ve got 4 earth angels sewing me back into this sucker.”

Despite the wardrobe hiccup, Nader made it to the red carpet just in time. She dazzled at the FOX Upfronts in a striking red minidress with a halter neckline, perfectly embodying the iconic lifeguard aesthetic associated with ‘Baywatch’.
Nader kept her look understated with light accessories and styled her hair in loose curls. Event photos captured her mingling with fellow cast members, including influencers and actors involved in the reboot.
In the new iteration of ‘Baywatch’, Nader portrays Selene, one of the captains of the Zuma Beach lifeguards. She has expressed that this role marks a significant milestone in her career.
Speaking to Extra on the red carpet, she described landing the role as a special experience, calling it “a pinch me moment.”
However, her casting has ignited discussions online, with some fans questioning the inclusion of influencers in the reboot, suggesting it prioritizes social media presence over acting skills.
Nader addressed this backlash in an interview with the Daily Mail back in March, stating, “I think that the times are different, and everyone is so multi-hyphenate now. And you can be both an actor and an influencer and have influence.” She emphasized that social media provides new avenues for individuals to express their voices and contribute to projects.
The original ‘Baywatch’ aired for 11 seasons from 1989 to 1999, becoming one of the most iconic TV shows of its era, featuring stars like David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.
While the reboot continues to generate buzz, Nader’s last-minute wardrobe crisis has already become one of the standout moments from the FOX Upfronts event.
