Fans eager for MobLand Season 2 now have a clearer timeline for the show’s return. This update comes from director Guy Ritchie during a recent promotional interview with ScreenRant, where he discussed his upcoming projects and confirmed the release window for the next season of the crime drama.

MobLand delves into the intense and fast-paced world of the Harrigan crime family, with Tom Hardy portraying Harry Da Souza, a skilled fixer who manages the family’s most perilous issues. The first season was a breakout success when it premiered last summer, generating significant excitement for what lies ahead.

Since the conclusion of Season 1, production for the new season has been progressing steadily. In April, cast members revealed that filming had wrapped, sharing posts from the wrap party on social media. Some actors hinted that Season 2 will elevate the stakes, with Emmett J. Scanlan describing it as “season 1 on steroids.”

According to Guy Ritchie, fans won’t have to wait much longer for new episodes. In his conversation with ScreenRant, he confirmed that MobLand Season 2 is anticipated to premiere before the year’s end.

“Well, we finished our bit, so we’re wrapping up that whole series now,” Ritchie stated while discussing his current schedule. He also added, “And then we’ve got The Gentlemen coming out soon, before the end of the year. I think we’ve got a few things. We’ve got MobLand before the end of the year, and we’ve got The Gentlemen before the end of the year. And we’ve got Wife & Dog. We’ve got three or four things coming out before the end of the year.”

This update indicates that post-production is nearing completion, suggesting the series is close to its release. While an exact date hasn’t been revealed, the confirmation of a same-year window provides fans with a more concrete expectation after months of uncertainty.

Season 2 will see the return of key cast members, including Pierce Brosnan as Conrad Harrigan, Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan, and Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan. The narrative will continue to explore the escalating power struggles within the Harrigan family, with the stakes expected to rise significantly following the events of the first season.

New cast members are also set to join the upcoming season, including Johnny Flynn and Ophelia Lovibond, introducing fresh dynamics to the already tense crime landscape.

While MobLand Season 3 hasn’t been officially confirmed, the show’s strong performance and ongoing popularity have led to speculation about future seasons. For now, all eyes are on Season 2, expected to premiere later this year on Paramount+.
