A New Prime Video Hit ‘Off Campus’ Surpasses ‘The Boys’ in Streaming Numbers
Prime Video has struck gold again in 2026 with another major hit, drawing attention away from some of its most popular established shows.
According to FlixPatrol and various regional rankings, the new series Off Campus has rapidly become one of the most-watched titles on the platform just days after its debut.
The show premiered on May 13 and is adapted from Elle Kennedy’s beloved book series. In a remarkably short time, it has managed to eclipse The Boys in global viewing interest, even as that series approaches the conclusion of its current season on Prime Video.

Based on platform rankings, Off Campus has reached the top spot in several countries, including Portugal, Switzerland, Poland, Sweden, South Africa, Norway, Ireland, Hungary, Greece, Denmark, the Czech Republic, Belgium, and Argentina. It has also performed well in major markets, ranking second in the United States, Canada, Germany, Brazil, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. In additional regions like Colombia, Malaysia, and Turkey, the show sits at number three.
The series has garnered strong early audience and critical responses, currently holding a 94 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes and an 85 percent audience score on the Popcornmeter, reflecting a positive reception from both critics and viewers.

The narrative follows Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham, portrayed by Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli. The cast also features Stephen Thomas Kalyn, Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Jalen Thomas Brooks, Josh Heuston, and Steve Howey. Created by Louisa Levy, the showrunner, along with Gina Fattore, the series has a strong creative team behind it.
Despite being a recent release, Off Campus has already been renewed for a second season, with Prime Video confirming the renewal on February 12, 2026, indicating confidence in the series’ long-term potential. However, no release date or production timeline for season 2 has been announced yet.
Currently, Off Campus season 1 is available for streaming on Prime Video, with further updates on the next chapter expected later this year as the show continues to perform strongly worldwide.
