‘Masters of the Universe’ Star Camila Mendes Explains ‘Naked Attraction’ to Nicholas Galitzine
A recent viral video featuring Camila Mendes and Nicholas Galitzine has ignited discussions online after the two actors talked about the British dating show Naked Attraction during a promotional interview.
The clip is making rounds on social media as Mendes and Galitzine continue their promotional efforts for the upcoming film Masters of the Universe, a fantasy action movie where Galitzine portrays Prince Adam / He-Man, and Mendes plays a significant role. The film is inspired by the popular Mattel franchise and follows Prince Adam’s return to Eternia as he transforms into He-Man to confront the villain Skeletor.
In the viral moment, Mendes candidly shared her views on Naked Attraction, a Channel 4 dating show known for its unique format. She expressed her enjoyment of the show and highlighted its deeper message.
“I love this show,” Mendes stated. She elaborated, “I actually think this show is amazing, like, I think it’s really beautiful, like it’s just people being so comfortable with their bodies.”
Galitzine replied by admitting he had never seen the series and inquired about how contestants are eliminated in the show’s format. He wondered if participants are ever removed for reasons beyond their appearance.
“But what if people are not taken out based on their bodies? Does that ever happen?” Galitzine asked.
Mendes clarified how the format operates, emphasizing that physical appearance is the primary factor in the decisions made. She explained that contestants are aware of the process before they join.
“They get eliminated,” Mendes said. “You know they are signing up for that. They know what it entails, but they are comfortable enough to just stand there butt naked and be judged.”
Naked Attraction is a British dating game show produced by Studio Lambert and aired on Channel 4. The series premiered in 2016 and ran for several seasons, hosted by Anna Richardson. Its concept involves a fully clothed contestant selecting a date from a group of six naked participants, whose bodies are revealed gradually from the bottom up. The show has sparked widespread discussion due to its explicit format and has received numerous complaints over the years, although regulators did not ban it because of its non-sexual nature and late-night broadcast schedule.
The show also featured special editions like Best Naughty Bits and All Out & Proud, which aired between 2021 and 2022. Channel 4 confirmed in 2025 that no new series are planned.
