A recent leak regarding the upcoming Marvel film Spider-Man: Brand New Day has ignited conversations among fans online. Social media posts indicate that a second full trailer for this highly anticipated movie has surfaced ahead of its official release.

One of the accounts sharing this information was Best Movies, which claimed that a complete version of the trailer appeared online without any watermarks. The footage quickly attracted attention across various social media platforms, but as of now, neither Sony Pictures nor Marvel Studios has publicly addressed the alleged leak.

This trailer leak comes as excitement builds for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which will continue Tom Holland’s Spider-Man journey within the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The film picks up after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Doctor Strange casts a spell that wipes Peter Parker’s identity from everyone’s memory. This leaves Peter isolated, with no friends, family, or allies recalling who he is.

According to the official premise, several years have passed since those events. Peter now operates as Spider-Man in anonymity, protecting New York City from crime. In his latest adventure, he faces a formidable new threat while navigating unexpected changes to his abilities.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, the screenplay is crafted by longtime Spider-Man collaborators Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, who have previously worked on the MCU Spider-Man films.

Tom Holland reprises his role as Peter Parker, joined by Zendaya. The cast also features Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.

A major highlight of the film is Jon Bernthal’s return as Frank Castle, also known as The Punisher. Mark Ruffalo will also return as Bruce Banner, adding another familiar Marvel character to Peter Parker’s latest adventure.

The title Brand New Day draws inspiration from the acclaimed 2008 Marvel Comics storyline of the same name, which offered Peter Parker a fresh start after significant life changes. While the film may not directly adapt the comic, the title hints at a similar theme of Peter rebuilding his life.

Producers have indicated their desire for this film to showcase a more independent version of Spider-Man. Unlike previous films, Peter is now tackling street-level crime in New York City rather than larger multiverse threats.

Filming for the movie took place from August to December 2025 across various locations in England, including Glasgow, Scotland, with studio work completed at Pinewood Studios.

Regardless of the authenticity of the leaked footage, it has already created considerable buzz among Marvel fans eager for a glimpse of the movie. With anticipation continuing to rise, audiences won’t have to wait much longer to see Spider-Man back on the big screen.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is currently set to hit theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase Six of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
