The merchandise campaign for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has been gradually revealing what Marvel’s marketing team has been strategically keeping under wraps. Toy leaks, action figures, and promotional art have collectively provided a detailed glimpse of the film’s major characters months before any official footage has been unveiled.

Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom has emerged as one of the most analyzed character designs in recent MCU history, with fans meticulously examining every accessory and piece of armor that hits store shelves worldwide.

The latest revelation comes from a source that Marvel enthusiasts have learned to trust. Images shared by Instagram leaker carter_bricks04, and circulated across social media, showcase what seems to be an official LEGO minifigure of Doctor Doom from the upcoming ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ set wave.

The minifigure is impressively accurate to the comics. A rumored Doctor Doom Bust set, cataloged as product 76345, is expected to launch in September with 379 pieces. If it follows the format of previous bust sets, fans can anticipate a display-ready bust of the villain alongside a Doctor Doom minifigure, marking the character’s first LEGO minifig in over a decade.

This early look, arriving ahead of any official announcement, aligns perfectly with how LEGO merchandise has historically hinted at MCU character details before studios are ready to share.

The minifigure’s reveal is part of a larger trend. It comes just days after another wave of Hasbro action figures leaked online via a Polish retail site, amplified by toy blogger idlehandsblog, providing the most comprehensive look yet at Doom’s physical design. The Hasbro Titan Series Doctor Doom figure features a green hooded cloak, silver metallic armor with a segmented chest plate and gauntlets, a stern silver mask, and black armored boots, showcasing the character in his classic comic-inspired costume.

The LEGO minifigure seen in the leaked images matches this color scheme, featuring a green hood, silver armor, and the iconic masked face that has defined the character for decades. The figure’s packaging also appears to utilize the same promotional artwork previously displayed by Disney during CinemaCon, indicating that the design is fully official and approved rather than a prototype.

One of the more fascinating details emerging from the broader toy wave is what Doom will be able to do on screen. The Hasbro figure includes red energy blast accessories, hinting at the powers Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor Von Doom will wield, while Thor’s figure suggests the God of Thunder will create a helmet from crackling yellow lightning effects. Such accessories rarely appear without narrative significance, and the red energy theme aligns with Doom’s mystical and technological abilities in the comics.

The wider toy wave also confirmed several other character appearances and design choices. Figures in the wave include Doctor Doom, Thor, Sam Wilson’s Captain America, The Thing, Human Torch, and Beast, with Beast’s figure showcasing the classic X-Men logo on his belt. The inclusion of Beast alongside Fantastic Four members and the Avengers emphasizes the expansive ensemble expected in the film.

Directed by the Russo Brothers and set for release on December 18, ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ has been generating excitement through a carefully controlled flow of information. A full trailer debuted at CinemaCon but has yet to be released to the public. The cast, alongside Downey Jr.’s Doom, includes Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Simu Liu, and Chris Evans, with the storyline focusing on the combined efforts of the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men to combat a significant multiverse threat.

For fans eager for more before December, the LEGO minifigure and its accompanying merchandise wave are already creating a buzz. The character’s green hood, silver mask, and armored silhouette in miniature form are generating considerable excitement on social media, with both collectors and casual fans responding positively to how closely the design mirrors the iconic version from the comics.
