With ‘Supergirl’ on the horizon, Milly Alcock is making the rounds in the press and sharing her strong views on the superhero genre she is about to enter. The Australian actress joined rapper Kid Cudi on his podcast ‘Big Bro with Kid Cudi’ for a rapid-fire game where she ranked her favorite actors portraying iconic comic book characters from both DC and Marvel. Her responses ranged from diplomatic to instinctive, sparking plenty of discussions online.

When asked about her favorite Batman, Alcock quickly chose Christian Bale, providing a straightforward yet powerful reason: “He’s Christian Bale.” This answer seemed to resonate with Kid Cudi, who agreed without hesitation. It’s a response that blends genuine admiration with undeniable logic, and fans on social media have largely echoed her sentiment.

Alcock’s opinion is shared by many. A fan poll previously showed Bale receiving over 40 percent of the votes among Batman actors, placing him well ahead of Michael Keaton, Adam West, and Ben Affleck. Bale portrayed the iconic character in Christopher Nolan’s acclaimed trilogy, starting with ‘Batman Begins’ in 2005, continuing with ‘The Dark Knight’ in 2008, and concluding with ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ in 2012.

The Batman selection was just one highlight in Alcock’s list of strong opinions. Her rankings also featured Heath Ledger as her favorite Joker, Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, and Andrew Garfield as her choice for best Spider-Man, a pick that surprised many fans and stirred conversations online, especially with her own superhero debut approaching.

Predictably, Alcock named her ‘Superman’ co-star David Corenswet as her Superman choice. She humorously noted that she had little choice in the matter, joking that she might be “out of a job” otherwise, before genuinely praising him and recalling her first impression, thinking, “Oh, you’re the guy.”

Alcock’s casting as Kara Zor-El followed an audition that reportedly moved the room to tears. DC Studios co-chairs James Gunn and Peter Safran were present, with Safran later recalling that everyone in the room unanimously agreed she was exactly what they were looking for. ‘Supergirl’ is set to hit theaters exclusively on June 26.

Alcock acknowledged that her press tour has had its challenges, mentioning in a separate interview with Variety that she has become aware of how “simply existing as a woman in that space is something that people comment on.” Nevertheless, appearances like her time on ‘Big Bro’ showcase a lighter, more relaxed side of the star as she prepares for what could be one of the most significant superhero debuts of the year.
