LEGO’s 2027 Marvel Lineup Leaked Featuring Doctor Doom in Avengers Doomsday Sets
Marvel enthusiasts have been eagerly analyzing every piece of footage and merchandise linked to ‘Avengers Doomsday’, and the excitement continues to build. With Robert Downey Jr. stepping into the role of Doctor Doom for the first time, even the slightest detail can send fans into a frenzy.
LEGO has consistently been a reliable source for insights into upcoming Marvel projects, often unveiling character designs, vehicles, and even plot hints well ahead of a film’s debut. The toy line has earned a reputation for releasing sets that sometimes feel like spoilers, and 2026 has been no exception given the extensive marketing for Doomsday.
Recently, a new wave of leaks has emerged, suggesting a robust lineup of LEGO Marvel sets expected to launch in January 2027. A report from Brick Fanatics, citing leaker BrickTap via maxbautde and a.clay.brick, indicates that the rumored collection includes eight different sets, though pricing details remain undisclosed.
The set that has captured the most attention among Doomsday fans is labeled 67003 Thor vs Doctor Doom Mechs. This 237-piece set is anticipated to feature minifigures of Thor and Doctor Doom, each accompanied by their own mechs. Given that Doctor Doom is set to be the main antagonist in ‘Avengers Doomsday’, a set that pits him against Thor seems like a fitting tie-in, and fans are already speculating about what his mech design might reveal.
Interestingly, the leaked lineup doesn’t end with just one Doom-themed set. Another listing for 67006 Marvel Skyline, boasting a substantial 1,261 pieces, has fans dreaming about which iconic buildings might be included. Additional details suggest that this set could feature a Galactus minifigure alongside Human Torch and Spider-Man nanofigs, potentially depicting landmarks such as the Daily Bugle, Oscorp, Avengers Tower, the Baxter Building, the Sanctum Sanctorum, Fisk Tower, the X Mansion, and possibly Roxxon Tower, with builds of the Quinjet, the Fantasticar, an X Jet, and the Fantastic Four’s rocket also included.
Spider-Man fans have much to anticipate as well. The leaked collection reportedly includes 67001 Spider-Man vs. Demogoblin at 82 pieces, 67004 Spider-Man vs Green Goblin at 240 pieces featuring Spider-Man, Green Goblin, and Mary Jane, and 67002 Scarlet Spider Mech at 146 pieces. Additionally, there’s 67022 Spider-Man Buildable Logo, which is said to consist of 480 pieces and feature a Symbiote Suit Spider-Man minifigure.
Completing the rumored wave are two more intriguing entries. 67005 Strange Supreme Sanctum is said to be an 814-piece set centered around the zombie variant of Doctor Strange from ‘What If’, reportedly including Zombie Thor, Zombie Iron Man, Zombie Wanda, Zombie Namor, a Spider-Man minifigure, and Strange Supreme himself. Meanwhile, 67023 Jeff the Land Shark, the beloved pet of Gwenpool and Kate Bishop, is rumored to consist of 495 pieces, providing fans of this quirky Marvel character something to be excited about.
According to the same report, the extensive nature of this rumored Marvel slate stands in contrast to LEGO’s reported DC plans for the same timeframe, which are said to consist of just two Batmobile sets. The report also notes that Marvel’s upcoming film slate includes ‘Avengers Secret Wars’ and ‘Spider-Man Beyond the Spider-Verse’, both of which could influence future LEGO releases.
As always with leaks of this nature, none of these sets have been officially confirmed by LEGO or Marvel, and names, piece counts, and character lineups may change before any formal announcement. Nevertheless, for a fandom that has been eager for concrete details about Doctor Doom ahead of ‘Avengers Doomsday’, even a rumored mech set is enough to ignite plenty of discussion.
