Zendaya Dazzles in Spider-Man Colors on the ‘Brand New Day’ Press Tour
As the global press tour for ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ commenced, it became evident that Zendaya and her stylist Law Roach had grander plans than a typical promotional event.
Over the years, the duo has transformed press circuits into fashion showcases, and this summer, with one of Marvel’s most awaited releases approaching, they are going all out.
Instead of opting for overt spiderweb designs or direct costume nods, Zendaya and Roach have curated a more subtle yet sophisticated color palette featuring black, red, and white—the three hues most synonymous with Spider-Man. This approach ensures the outfits feel more like high fashion rather than mere costumes, effectively blending the film’s world with the red carpet.
The Berlin leg of the tour highlighted this philosophy beautifully. At the photocall, Zendaya showcased a striking red number 39 jersey top paired with a tailored plaid midi skirt, posing against the city skyline with the ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ branding prominently displayed. This casual yet chic look marked a refreshing change from the more formal outfits seen at earlier stops, instantly igniting social media buzz.
The press tour has already delivered memorable looks in Madrid and Amsterdam, with Zendaya donning Christian Cowan at the Madrid photocall, Ernesto Naranjo at the Madrid press junket, Louis Vuitton at the Amsterdam photocall, and Alexander McQueen at the Amsterdam fan event. Each location brought its unique visual narrative, and Berlin continued this trend with a more grounded, sporty vibe that felt intentional.
With upcoming appearances scheduled in London, New York City, and beyond, fans can anticipate a plethora of stunning Zendaya outfits, especially with Tom Holland accompanying her. The couple has been traveling across Europe together, and this promotional tour has also served as a high-profile public moment for them, marking their first red carpet appearances together since 2021 during the promotion of ‘No Way Home.’
The film has been in the works for quite some time. Producer Amy Pascal previously disclosed plans for another Spider-Man trilogy featuring Holland, with story development kicking off shortly after ‘No Way Home’ premiered. The project officially received its title in 2025, drawing inspiration from the Marvel comic storyline of the same name. Filming occurred in various locations across the United Kingdom, including Glasgow and Pinewood Studios.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film follows Peter Parker as he attempts to concentrate on college life while leaving Spider-Man behind, only to be drawn back in when a new threat jeopardizes his friends. The cast features Tom Holland and Zendaya alongside Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, Jacob Batalon, Tramell Tillman, Michael Mando, and Mark Ruffalo.
The official synopsis reveals Peter grappling with the pressure of watching his old friends move on without him, triggering a transformation he may struggle to control. This change might be the key to confronting a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves.
‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ is set to hit theaters on July 31, marking the 38th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. With the release date approaching and several press tour cities still on the horizon, the blend of Marvel excitement and fashion spectacle is sure to escalate. Each new city introduces a fresh look, adding another layer to one of the most stylish promotional campaigns in recent MCU history.
