Brooks Nader is officially entering the world of ‘Baywatch’, and fresh photos from the set are already generating excitement among fans for the upcoming reboot.

The Sports Illustrated model and reality TV star was seen filming scenes for the new ‘Baywatch’ series in Long Beach, California, donning the iconic red lifeguard swimsuit. The 29-year-old actress was spotted on the beach during production, participating in scenes alongside fellow cast member Ashley Moore, who also sported the classic lifeguard look.

Between takes, Nader was photographed wearing a black coat and brown boots while the production team worked on her hair and makeup before she resumed filming. The behind-the-scenes images quickly attracted attention as fans got their first glimpse of how the new series is reviving the classic ‘Baywatch’ style.

According to casting details, Nader will portray Selene, a series regular characterized as “the sharp-tongued captain of the Zuma beach lifeguards.” Her character will be part of a new generation of lifeguards continuing the legacy of the original series.

The forthcoming ‘Baywatch’ reboot aims to introduce a fresh storyline while maintaining ties to the original show. According to a synopsis shared by Variety, the series will follow Hobie Buchannon, who is now a Baywatch captain continuing the work initiated by his legendary father, Mitch Buchannon.

The narrative will also delve into Hobie’s personal life when Charlie, the daughter he never knew existed, suddenly appears and aspires to follow in the family tradition by becoming a lifeguard. The new series will also reintroduce Cody Madison, who now operates The Shoreline, a Baywatch-themed bar and restaurant, while still occasionally returning to the beach to assist in saving lives.

Cody will act as a mentor for the younger lifeguards, guiding the new team while preserving the essence of the original series.

The reboot is scheduled to premiere on Fox in January 2027, with episodes also available for streaming on Hulu. The project is being developed as a contemporary interpretation of the beloved beach drama, which originally became a global sensation after its debut in the late 1980s.

While specifics about the complete storyline remain under wraps, the new cast has already begun to create buzz. Nader’s casting has sparked online discussions, as the model recently addressed the reactions surrounding her role in the series.

The actress has not disclosed many details about what viewers can expect from Selene, but her initial scenes indicate that the reboot will remain true to the action, drama, and beach setting that made ‘Baywatch’ a pop culture phenomenon.

With production now in full swing, fans are getting their first look at the new lifeguard team. If the reboot proves successful, it could revive the iconic franchise for a new generation of viewers.
