‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ Streaming Release Date on Hulu and Disney+ Set for July 2

‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ is poised to deliver even more chaos, danger, and dark humor as the horror sequel makes its way to streaming. Fans can catch the film on Hulu and Disney+ starting July 2, allowing them to continue following Grace MacCaullay’s perilous journey after the events of the 2019 hit.

Once again featuring Samara Weaving as Grace, the sequel brings back the character who survived the deadly wedding night ritual that propelled the first film to success. Directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, the duo behind the original movie, the sequel deepens Grace’s narrative with a new threat and an even larger fight for survival.

The story picks up shortly after Grace escapes the terrifying Le Domas family ritual. After her harrowing night, Grace finds herself in a hospital where she reconnects with her younger sister Faith, portrayed by Kathryn Newton. The sisters, separated for years, soon find themselves ensnared in a new nightmare as powerful families begin to hunt them.

The film follows Grace as she strives to protect Faith while contending with five wealthy and dangerous families engaged in a high-stakes ritual. Their aim is to seize ultimate power, forcing Grace into yet another battle where survival is her only option.

In addition to Weaving and Newton, the cast features notable names such as Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, David Cronenberg, and Elijah Wood. The sequel maintains the blend of horror, comedy, and action that distinguished the first film, while also introducing new characters and expanding Grace’s world.

‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ made its debut at the South by Southwest Film & TV Festival on March 13, 2026, before hitting theaters in the United States on March 20 through Searchlight Pictures. The film reportedly performed well at the box office, grossing $42.9 million worldwide against a budget of $14 million.

The original ‘Ready or Not’ gained popularity for its unique storyline, which intertwined a violent survival game with sharp comedy and social commentary. The sequel aims to continue this trend by placing Grace in another impossible situation while exploring themes of family, power, and revenge.

The return of Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett as directors is expected to recapture the energy that made the first film a fan favorite. Their work on the original helped strike a balance between intense horror and unexpected humor, a formula the sequel seeks to replicate.

With its streaming release now confirmed, fans will soon discover whether Grace can endure another deadly game. ‘Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’ will be available on Hulu and Disney+ on July 2.
