‘Stranger Things’ Complete Series Box Set Release Date and First Look Revealed
After nearly a year since ‘Stranger Things‘ concluded its narrative, fans eager to own the complete saga on physical media can finally rejoice. Netflix’s flagship original series is set to make its debut in a collector’s box set, a request from dedicated fans since the show became a cultural sensation in 2016.
With the release just weeks away, Netflix has unveiled a sneak peek of what fans can anticipate when the box set arrives. The reveal showcases a striking five-volume spine design of the Deluxe Edition, adorned with bold red and black artwork that captures the show’s Upside Down theme, complete with glowing embers at the bottom of the set.
Arrow Video is collaborating with Netflix for this release, with ‘Stranger Things, The Complete Series’ scheduled to hit shelves on July 27 in the UK and July 28 in the US and Canada. This marks the first time that every episode from all five seasons—42 episodes across 25 discs—will be available in one physical collection.
Fans will have the option to choose between Special and Deluxe editions, both available in standard Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD formats. The Deluxe Edition offers much more than a standard box set, featuring newly commissioned artwork reminiscent of classic Drew Struzan-style posters, a 148-page booklet, exclusive art cards from all five seasons, double-sided posters, a Hellfire Club patch, a pair of Hellfire Club d20 dice, and a fold-out map of Hawkins.
Every version of the release, regardless of tier, includes bonus content aimed at longtime fans eager to explore the show’s production history. This includes interviews with cast and crew, behind-the-scenes featurettes, set tours, bloopers, image galleries, and trailers, providing even casual viewers with ample reasons to upgrade from streaming.
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer expressed their excitement about the release, emphasizing it as a long-held dream since the show’s inception. “We always dreamed that Stranger Things could be owned in its entirety,” the Duffer Brothers stated in a statement, highlighting their intention to create not just a collector’s item but a way to preserve the show for future generations.
The pricing reflects the scale of this release, with the Special Edition priced at 200 dollars for Blu-ray and 220 dollars for 4K, while the Deluxe Edition is set at 250 dollars and 270 dollars, respectively. Given the wealth of exclusive content included in the higher tier and the physical size of the set, early coverage suggests that the pricing is justified for what is being touted as Netflix’s most elaborate physical release for an original series.

The timing of this release coincides with a broader expansion of the ‘Stranger Things’ universe beyond its original run. The animated spin-off ‘Stranger Things, Tales From 85’ premiered on Netflix earlier this year, while the Tony Award-winning prequel stage production ‘Stranger Things, The First Shadow’ continues its Broadway run, with plans for a filmed version to be released on streaming in the future.
For a series that consistently shattered viewership records throughout its decade-long journey, culminating in a final season that pushed all previous seasons back into Netflix’s global charts, the arrival of a definitive physical collection serves as a fitting tribute to its legacy.
