‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 4 Streams Today, How To Watch It
The crew of the Enterprise is back in action, and the timing couldn’t be better. ‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ Season 4 premieres today, generating excitement with a trailer featuring dinosaurs, cowboys, and a more prominent role for a young James T. Kirk.
If you’ve been eager to reconnect with Captain Pike and his team since the Season 3 finale, here’s a comprehensive guide on where to stream it, when new episodes will be released, and who is returning for this thrilling journey.
‘Star Trek: Strange New Worlds’ streams exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States, continuing its availability for the new season. Paramount+ plans start at $8.99 per month, with both the Essential and Premium tiers granting subscribers access to the entire library.
For fans outside the US, the series is also available on Paramount+ in the UK, Latin America, Australia, Italy, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Japan, with Canada also having access through the platform. In parts of Europe, the show can be found on SkyShowtime in the Nordics, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, and Central and Eastern Europe.
Currently, there are no free viewing options for the series, so a subscription to one of these services is necessary to watch. For newcomers to the franchise, all 30 episodes from the first three seasons are available for binge-watching before diving into the new episodes.
Season 4 premieres globally on Paramount+ today, Thursday, July 23, as part of the franchise’s 60th anniversary celebration. The premiere episode, titled “Valles Marineris,” is named after a massive system of craters and canyons on Mars.
The season will follow the familiar weekly rollout, with new episodes releasing every Thursday. Episode two, “The Griffin Incident,” will be available on July 30, followed by “Human Best Friend” on August 6, “A Case of Chiaroscuro” on August 13, and “Level Five Transporter Accident” on August 20.
In total, Season 4 will consist of 10 episodes, concluding with a finale on September 24. Fans can look forward to two months of weekly adventures before the story pauses for the next chapter.
Notably, this will be the last season of ‘Strange New Worlds’ with 10 episodes. The upcoming fifth and final season is set to arrive in 2027, featuring only six episodes that will serve as a direct bridge to the original ‘Star Trek’ series.
The full crew of the Enterprise is returning for Season 4, led by Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike. Ethan Peck is back as Spock, and Rebecca Romijn reprises her role as Number One, also known as Una Chin Riley.
One of the most anticipated returns is Paul Wesley, confirmed to reprise his role as James T. Kirk. Wesley first appeared in the role during the Season 1 finale, and his presence is expected to grow significantly this season, as highlighted in the trailer’s focus on the Kirk and Spock dynamic.

Commander Pelia is also confirmed to return, along with the rest of the beloved bridge crew that fans have grown to love over the past three seasons. Photos from the premiere episode showcase Una, La’an played by Christina Chong, and Ortegas played by Melissa Navia embarking on a mission together.
Rebecca Romijn expressed her excitement for the new season at CCXP Mexico, stating that she and the cast are incredibly proud of both this season and the next. According to comments shared by 3DVF, she described the upcoming episodes as some of the show’s strongest material yet.
The Season 4 trailer, released in mid-June, indicates a tonal shift back to classic episodic ‘Star Trek’ storytelling, focusing on standalone adventures rather than heavily serialized arcs. This approach has helped establish the show as the most acclaimed series in the modern franchise.
Among the exciting teases in the trailer are an episode centered on space cowboys, a black hole, and even actual dinosaurs. Additionally, a previously announced episode filmed with Jim Henson’s Creature Shop will transform the crew into Muppet-style puppets for an entire installment.
The season will also pick up emotional threads from the Season 3 finale, which saw Captain Marie Batel sacrifice herself to contain a dangerous ancient species, leaving Pike to grapple with yet another devastating loss. Expect Pike’s character arc to continue wrestling with the knowledge of his own future throughout these new episodes.
Beyond the puppet episode and dinosaur teases, the series is also set to introduce younger versions of Bones and Sulu before the show ultimately concludes with its shortened fifth season.
With the return of Kirk, the Muppet crossover episode, and the promise of dinosaurs roaming a strange new world, this season of ‘Strange New Worlds’ may be the most unpredictable yet. Which of these exciting new episode concepts are you most eager to see come to life?
