‘Silo’ Season 3 Episode 7 Release Date: When ‘Radio’ Premieres on Apple TV+
Apple TV+’s dystopian sci-fi drama continues to unravel one of its biggest mysteries this season, as fans approach the latter half of a run that promises to finally provide long-awaited answers. Based on Hugh Howey’s bestselling trilogy, the series has spent its third season drawing Juliette Nichols and the inhabitants of the underground silo deeper into the truth behind humanity’s forced descent underground.
Season 3 premiered on July 3, 2026, picking up after a Season 2 finale that left Juliette dealing with memory loss while the silo confronted a new and dangerous threat. Creator Graham Yost has framed the entire series around a central question, describing it as fundamentally a mystery. He stated, “The mystery is: why are these people living in this underground silo? What happened? Why can’t they go outside?”
‘Silo‘ Season 3 Episode 7, titled “Radio,” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Friday, August 14, 2026, continuing the show’s consistent weekly release pattern established since the season began. New episodes typically become available at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, or 3 a.m. Eastern Time, allowing fans in various regions to enjoy their local drop times based on their time zones.
This episode arrives as the tenth and final episode of the season, “Troy,” approaches, with the finale scheduled to conclude the current run on September 4, 2026. Before that, the season still has three more episodes to unfold, including Episode 8, “Gray Goo,” on August 21, and Episode 9, “Farewell,” on August 28, leading up to the season’s conclusion.
Much of the season’s narrative tension has revolved around parallel storylines: Juliette’s ongoing quest for the truth within the silo and flashbacks to the enigmatic “Before Times,” which hint at the events that led humanity to be sealed underground. According to the season’s marketing, “the truth lies in the past,” suggesting that the answers to the silo’s central mystery are rooted in historical events that predate the current timeline. This structure has allowed the show to intricately weave together its present-day drama with glimpses of the world that existed before the silos.

Apple has already confirmed that ‘Silo’ will return for a fourth and final season, which will conclude the overall story. While no official premiere date has been set for that final chapter, a 2027 debut seems to be the most likely timeframe based on the show’s current release pace.
The current season also introduces new faces to the cast, following Steve Zahn’s addition back in Season 2, continuing to expand the ensemble as the mystery deepens heading into these final episodes. With only a few episodes left before Season 3 concludes, the pressure is mounting for the show to deliver on the answers it has been building toward since the beginning.
