‘Call My Agent!’ Movie Release Date Set by Netflix for September 10
French television has produced many hits, but few have achieved global acclaim like ‘Call My Agent!’. Known in France as “Dix pour cent,” this talent agency dramedy aired for four seasons from 2015 to 2020, becoming a Netflix sensation that inspired international remakes in countries like India, Italy, and South Korea.
After nearly five years of anticipation, fans are finally getting their wish as the film adaptation is set to premiere. Netflix has officially announced the release date, confirming that audiences will soon be able to enjoy the reunion of the beloved cast.
‘Call My Agent! The Movie’ will debut globally on Netflix on September 10, featuring nearly the entire original cast. The story takes place five years after the fictional ASK talent agency closed its doors. Camille Cottin reprises her role as Andréa Martel, who has left the cutthroat world of talent representation to pursue her dream of directing her first feature film. However, disaster strikes just days before filming begins when her lead actor unexpectedly drops out.

This crisis forces Andréa to reconnect with her former colleagues, reuniting the dynamic that made the series a hit. Laure Calamy returns as Noémie Leclerc, alongside Thibault de Montalembert as Mathias Barneville and Grégory Montel as Gabriel Sarda, with Nicolas Maury, Fanny Sidney, and Liliane Rovère also reprising their roles.
The film’s guest star lineup is generating significant excitement, featuring Laetitia Casta, Vincent Macaigne, Ophélia Kolb, and Anne Marivin. The show’s tradition of featuring real actors playing exaggerated versions of themselves as agency clients continues, adding to the series’ unique charm.
Émilie Noblet takes the helm as director, working from a script penned by original series creator Fanny Herrero and co-writer Lison Daniel. Herrero’s involvement has alleviated concerns about whether the film can capture the beloved tone of the original series.
Reflecting on the reunion, Herrero expressed how meaningful it was to revisit these characters, stating, “They are so inspiring, I love them all.” She also hinted that this film may not be the final chapter for the franchise, suggesting that “no one’s in prison, they haven’t stopped at all,” leaving the door open for future stories.
The journey to this release has not been without challenges, with years of delays and quiet updates before the project finally gained momentum earlier this year. The excitement surged when the cast reunited for a photocall in Cannes, followed by an appearance on France Télévisions’ “C à Vous,” leading up to the official announcement.
Producers Dominique Besnehard, Harold Valentin, and Michel Feller are back, ensuring the same creative team that guided the series through its original run is intact. With a runtime of 90 minutes and a confirmed release date, fans finally have something concrete to look forward to after years of speculation.
For a show that thrived on chaotic agency politics and star-studded cameos, seeing the full cast back together for one last adventure feels like a perfect send-off, or perhaps just the beginning of a new chapter.
