‘Avengers: Doomsday’ Cast Reunites in New Promo as Philippine Tickets Are Available
Marvel’s highly anticipated team-up film is approaching, and the studio is pulling out all the stops to maintain excitement. The promotional campaign for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ now includes brief cast clips aimed at reminding fans that the release is imminent. A recent clip features some of the film’s most prominent stars.
Scheduled for release in the US on December 18, the film sees the return of the Russo brothers as directors. Filming took place from April to September 2025 at Pinewood Studios in England, with Robert Downey Jr. portraying Victor von Doom, also known as Doctor Doom. The cast features MCU veterans alongside actors from Fox’s X-Men series, and the narrative follows heroes from three different universes on a perilous collision course.
Recently, the film’s marketing team in the Philippines released a short promo. It showcases Winston Duke, Paul Rudd, and Downey in front of a stained-glass window, with Letitia Wright and Tenoch Huerta also featured in the clip. On-screen text states, “In cinemas December 16,” with a note that tickets are available now, shared by Marvel Studios Philippines.

This date aligns with the film’s early international rollout. According to Tribune, tickets went on sale Thursday for Infinity Vision-certified screens in the Philippines, with regular cinema tickets available starting October 16. The film will hit Philippine theaters for a limited time on December 16, just two days ahead of the US release.
Infinity Vision is Disney and Marvel’s new Premium Large Format certification, promising larger screens, enhanced visuals, and immersive sound. This format was also utilized for the ‘Avengers: Endgame Encore’ re-release, which premiered in the Philippines on September 23, featuring an exclusive look at ‘Doomsday’.
The early release date fits a broader trend, with other regions also set for December 16, including the UK, where Disney confirmed the earlier launch, and reports indicate Brazil, Italy, and Norway will follow suit.
Each actor featured in the clip plays a significant role in the film. Wright reprises her role as Shuri, while Duke returns as M’Baku, both seen alongside the Dora Milaje, Ben Grimm, Sue Storm, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, and Ghost in official images. Rudd is back as Scott Lang, with Kathryn Newton portraying Cassie Lang.
Downey is, of course, the focal point. After his iconic portrayal of Iron Man, he now steps into the role of the villain, and the marketing has heavily emphasized this twist. Huerta completes the promo as part of an ensemble that includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, and many others.

The clip is only eight seconds long, so it doesn’t divulge any plot details. However, it effectively highlights the extensive cast, which is precisely the intention.
This promo is just one of many elements in a marketing strategy that has been in motion for months. Marvel revealed a new trailer and poster at D23 in August, and US ticket sales began shortly thereafter through Fandango and other outlets. The cast also made an appearance at San Diego Comic-Con’s Hall H.
The excitement has translated into impressive numbers. TheWrap reported that ‘Doomsday’ has already amassed over $50 million in presales and is projected to challenge the $360 million domestic opening record of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ and the $1.22 billion global opening record of ‘Avengers: Endgame’. The film is also expected to run approximately 165 minutes, according to its Wikipedia page.
Some fans have expressed concern over late production work, as reports indicated that additional photography continued well into the summer. Nevertheless, the strong ticket sales and early release dates suggest that Disney is confident in the film’s trajectory. With ‘Endgame Encore’ currently in theaters, the story continues in December.
