‘The Godmother’ Star Jennifer Lopez Turns Paris Fashion Week Into a Style Showcase

Fashion Month is nearing its conclusion in Paris, and the final days are proving to be the most star-studded yet. The last segment of the Spring/Summer 2027 season runs from Sept. 28 to Oct. 6, drawing an array of famous faces to the front rows. Among them is Jennifer Lopez, who arrived in the French capital after her appearances at Milan Fashion Week.

Lopez is in Paris for Fashion Week, specifically to witness the Spring/Summer 2027 collections. She was seen shopping in the city on Sept. 29, and her trip has kept photographers on their toes ever since. By Sept. 30, the singer and actress had a packed schedule ahead of her.

That busy agenda included attending the Stella McCartney show on Sept. 30, where she took her place in the front row. Photos captured her returning to her hotel after a bustling night, dressed in a tonal brown outfit complete with a belt and an oversized fur-style stole. This ensemble seemed to reflect her earlier look at the McCartney show that same day.

The show itself was unforgettable, taking place on a rain-drenched runway in the British ambassador’s gardens, where Lopez watched under an umbrella. The collection featured an under-the-sea theme and celebrated 25 years of McCartney’s label, with models like Karlie Kloss and Miranda Kerr gracing the runway.

Different outlets described Lopez’s outfit in various ways. Marie Claire highlighted a belted, fur-trimmed brown top paired with a matching pencil skirt, pointy pumps, and an elongated stole trailing behind her. WWD noted the cognac-hued ensemble along with a brown croc-embossed slingback pump, while the Press Association described a layered midi dress topped with a faux-fur shawl and black veil.

The fur detail is particularly noteworthy. McCartney’s label has maintained a commitment to avoiding leather, fur, or feathers for 25 years, making Lopez’s cozy, fur-trimmed styling a fitting choice for her first McCartney show.

Not everything in Paris has been serene and stylish. A video shared by Page Six on Sept. 29 captured Lopez exiting her hotel with her entourage as photographers swarmed around her. She urged them to calm down, stating that nobody was going anywhere.

Online reactions varied. Some lauded her for maintaining her composure, while others suggested she had summoned the photographers herself. Her footwear also caught attention, as she sported school-inspired black loafers paired with neat white socks.

Lopez is not the only celebrity making waves this week. Marie Claire’s roundup of the front rows includes names like Rihanna, Jennifer Lawrence, Zoë Kravitz, and Anya Taylor-Joy, all saving their best looks for the finale. With the season concluding on Oct. 6, more standout moments are highly anticipated.

Paris is a familiar setting for Lopez. Earlier this year, she attended the Celia Kritharioti couture show in July alongside her sister Lynda Lopez, wearing a sheer, bejeweled dress complemented by a white fur coat. She also graced the Zuhair Murad couture show that month.

Her appearances in Paris highlight her enthusiasm for the spectacle of Fashion Week. From a rainy front row to a late-night return to her hotel, Lopez has truly embraced her time in the city. What she will wear next remains a mystery.
