Jacob Elordi Defends Kendall Jenner as Paparazzi Surround Them in Paris

Fashion Month has become a showcase for couple sightings featuring Kendall Jenner and Jacob Elordi. Just days prior in Milan, Elordi was seen front row at Bottega Veneta, where Jenner closed the collection. He captured moments of her on a digital camera and cheered enthusiastically with a crowd whistle.

The couple then traveled to Paris, where Jenner walked in the L’Oréal Paris “Express Your Worth” show on September 28. They were first linked in March, reportedly sparking rumors at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and have since been spotted together at Coachella, in Hawaii, and in Japan. By the time they arrived in Paris, the cameras were already waiting for them.

This attention prompted Elordi to attempt to set some boundaries with the paparazzi who surrounded him and Jenner during Paris Fashion Week. The ‘Euphoria’ star expressed his desire to get rid of the photographers as they strolled through the French capital. A video that circulated on social media captures the moment.

In the footage, the couple walks hand in hand, flanked by two bodyguards, while paparazzi crowd around them. A fan with a phone also trails behind. Elordi, who has previously had issues with photographers, can be heard saying, “Wait, wait, wait, can we just walk home?” while Jenner tries to shield her face from the cameras.

He then repeats, “Stop, stop, stop.” Elordi tells the photographers they already have their pictures and asks if they can simply return to their hotel, adding, “No flash, just let us walk.” Reports indicate that Elordi wore sunglasses while flashes went off around them.

Despite his request, the photographers continued to follow them as they crossed the street, with Elordi wrapping an arm around Jenner’s waist while she kept her face covered. Jenner noticed the fan trailing them and mentioned something to Elordi, who pulled her closer before they crossed, still surrounded by cameras.

The couple’s look for the evening was calm, even if the moment was not. Jenner wore a gray mini dress paired with black heels, while Elordi opted for a white button-down and black trousers. Marie Claire praised the duo for showcasing a master class in ’90s-inspired date-night fashion earlier in the week.

This isn’t the first instance of Elordi expressing frustration with photographers in the French capital. In December, a video captured him having a heated exchange with a photographer at the Gare du Nord station, where he expressed that the attention complicates his life. That moment highlighted his discomfort with the invasive nature of fame while promoting ‘Frankenstein’.

Online reactions to the recent clip have been mixed. Some fans applauded the protective boyfriend energy displayed, while others on social media made light of his intense reaction. Regardless, the video quickly gained traction.

Elordi and Jenner appear to be moving forward, with Deuxmoi reporting that the couple is house hunting in Los Angeles. If their Paris encounter is any indication, a quieter home base may be exactly what they desire.
