Zendaya Remixes Her ‘The Odyssey’ Press Tour Jacket for Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week Show

Zendaya has firmly established herself as a staple at the Paris Fashion Week front row. As an ambassador for Louis Vuitton since 2023, she has transformed the brand’s shows into a platform for showcasing her evolving hairstyles, bold silhouettes, and outfits that fans dissect for days.

This trend has continued over several seasons. At the previous September show, she dazzled in a metallic mini blazer dress with shearling trim, and in March, she made an entrance in a crisp white shirt dress featuring a high-low bubble skirt, complemented by a freshly cropped haircut.

This week, she opted for a fresh twist. For Louis Vuitton’s Spring 2027 show on Tuesday, Zendaya arrived in a striking white ruffled blazer adorned with lace details, paired with a matching crop top, straight-leg blue jeans, and pointed white heels. Images of her outfit quickly circulated online, with a post from Film Updates garnering over 62,000 views within hours.

The jacket truly stood out. Layers of white ruffles framed her shoulders and arms, while a voluminous collar rose elegantly around her neck. The lace detailing added a delicate touch that contrasted beautifully with the jacket’s size. The faded denim and simple top grounded the ensemble.

Her hairstyle further enhanced the look. She sported a cropped cut, a style she has favored since debuting it at the March show, allowing the jacket’s collar to take center stage. With her hands in her pockets and a serene expression, she exuded a relaxed confidence that perfectly matched the casual-chic vibe.

Interestingly, W Magazine reported that the jacket is not a new piece. It was custom-made by Nicolas Ghesquière for the Paris stop of ‘The Odyssey’ press tour in July, where Zendaya previously paired it with a daring cut-out dress and pearlescent satin pumps.

This time, she retained the jacket and pointed heels but swapped the dress for street-style separates, including faded jeans and a white tank top. The quick turnaround was noted as part of the outfit’s appeal, as she completely redefined the piece. After four press tours this year, with a fifth on the horizon, a more relaxed approach to Paris Fashion Week seems fitting.

Zendaya was not alone in making a statement. Emma Stone turned heads in a plunging blue blazer at the same show, and other notable attendees included Ana de Armas, Rhea Seehorn, and Jennifer Connelly, as reported by the Press Association.

Coverage from various outlets highlighted Zendaya’s combination of an extravagant lace top with comfortable low-rise jeans as one of the standout looks of the week. The striking contrast between formal and casual elements has sparked discussions, as few would think to pair a couture jacket with everyday denim.

Rewearing a custom piece is still a relatively rare move in celebrity fashion, where new outfits are often expected for each appearance. By restyling a jacket from her ‘The Odyssey’ promotional tour, Zendaya demonstrates that a statement garment can have multiple lives and that the right pairing can entirely shift its mood.

This approach aligns with her overall strategy for Louis Vuitton shows. Each season introduces a new concept, whether it’s a bubble hemline, a metallic mini, or now a ruffled bolero over jeans, and this variety is a significant reason why her appearances are events in their own right.
