‘VisionQuest’ Release Schedule: Every Episode Date for Marvel’s Final ‘WandaVision’ Chapter
Marvel’s small-screen universe is currently navigating a transitional phase, with fewer live-action series and growing curiosity about future projects. ‘VisionQuest’ is set to debut amidst this shift, serving as the concluding chapter of a trilogy that began with ‘WandaVision’ and continued with ‘Agatha All Along.’
The series features Paul Bettany reprising his role as Vision, alongside James Spader returning as Ultron for the first time in live action since ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron.’ Created by Terry Matalas, known for his work on ‘Star Trek: Picard’ and ’12 Monkeys,’ the show is generating excitement as the premiere date approaches.
Fans are particularly interested in the ‘VisionQuest’ release schedule, especially after Marvel revised its plans. The series will kick off with a two-episode premiere on Wednesday, October 14, allowing viewers to enjoy a double feature of Vision before the show transitions to a weekly release format.
According to reports from various sources, the eight-episode series is scheduled as follows:
- October 14: Episodes 1 and 2
- October 21: Episode 3
- October 28: Episode 4
- November 4: Episode 5
- November 11: Episode 6
- November 18: Episode 7
- November 25: Episode 8 (finale)
New episodes will be available at 12 a.m. on Wednesdays. Due to the change in premiere plans, the finale has been moved up a week from its previously anticipated date of December 2. While some social media posts suggest additional double-episode releases and a finale on November 11, this does not align with the weekly schedule reported by outlets like Men’s Journal and The Direct.
The opening episodes promise to be substantial. The official listing for the show’s BFI debut indicates that the two-episode premiere will run for a total of 97 minutes, making it the longest two-episode opener in the Disney+ trilogy, surpassing ‘WandaVision’ at 71 minutes and ‘Agatha All Along’ at 87 minutes.
Marvel has previously utilized this format, with ‘WandaVision,’ ‘Hawkeye,’ ‘Agatha All Along,’ and the first season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ all starting with two-episode premieres. This strategy also helps distance the finale from the marketing push for ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ which is set to hit theaters on December 18.

The trailer reveals Vision on the run, pursued by a hunter named Paladin. Vision’s programming still contains several AI personalities, including Ultron, suggesting that their relationship will be a key focus of the series. Additionally, Vision is seen traveling with Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious boy who may be the reincarnation of his son.
At the story’s outset, Vision has spent years living as a human and working at a pub. Meanwhile, Tommy has grown up as an orphan in London, surviving through pickpocketing. This setup hints at a darker, more personal narrative compared to the sitcom-inspired experiments of ‘WandaVision.’
The significance of this release extends beyond the narrative itself. ‘VisionQuest’ is reportedly the last new live-action Marvel series scheduled for Disney+, according to Cosmic Book News. Following it, the only remaining live-action Marvel show is the third and final season of ‘Daredevil: Born Again,’ set for 2027.
This makes the series feel like a culmination of the streaming initiative that began with ‘WandaVision’ in 2021. Marvel has been scaling back its output on Disney+, raising the stakes for how well this finale will resonate with audiences. Fans will be eager to see if the show sets up any plot points for ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ as its final episode will air just three weeks before the film’s release.
With the premiere on October 14 and a finale on November 25, the next six weeks promise to keep Marvel enthusiasts engaged. The weekly release format also allows ample time for fans to theorize between episodes, a feature that ‘WandaVision’ fans will fondly remember.
