Disney+ Reveals New ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Poster for ‘The Titan’s Curse’
Winter is approaching at Camp Half-Blood. The latest installment of Disney+’s ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ shifts from summer camp escapades to snow-filled quests, and the marketing is embracing this colder, darker atmosphere.
The adaptation of Rick Riordan’s popular books has gained traction with each new season. The second season aired from December 10, 2025, to January 21, 2026, and the series was renewed for another season in March 2025, even before that run began.
Fans now have a fresh glimpse of what’s coming. A new poster for ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ has been unveiled, with the show set to return to Disney+ on November 20. The artwork features Percy Jackson, portrayed by Walker Scobell, sitting atop a large black winged horse in a snowy setting, with a sword glimmering at the edge of the frame. Above the title, the tagline reads “A Titan’s Curse. A Hero’s Destiny.”

This image marks a significant tonal shift from the show’s earlier promotional materials. Snowflakes swirl in the air as the massive dark wings extend behind Percy, who gazes into the distance with a cautious look. Disney’s branding and the November 20 date are prominently displayed at the bottom of the image.
This follows the first poster released in July, when Disney+ announced the premiere date at San Diego Comic-Con. The new key art arrives as promotional efforts ramp up for November, effectively utilizing a few elements: winter, flight, a weapon, and a tagline that hints at destiny.
The third season adapts ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the third book in Riordan’s series, marking the first time this story has been brought to the screen. In this tale, Annabeth goes missing, prompting Percy, Grover, and Thalia to team up with the Hunters of Artemis to find her. The official description indicates that the stakes are higher than ever as Percy grapples with her sudden disappearance and the impending Great Prophecy from the Oracle of Delphi.
According to a plot summary of the source material, the quest involves the Titan Atlas, who forces the goddess Artemis to bear the weight of the sky, leading to the Titan’s curse. This aligns with the teaser Disney+ released, which depicts Percy struggling under the burden of the heavens. The first trailer also follows Percy as he confronts a dream about the Great Prophecy.
The season expands its cast significantly. Tamara Smart portrays Thalia Grace, whose return at the end of the previous season sets the stage for much of the new narrative, while Levi Chrisopulos and Olive Abercrombie join as Nico and Bianca di Angelo. Dafne Keen takes on the role of Artemis, with Saara Chaudry playing her lieutenant, Zoë Nightshade.
Additional cast members include Holt McCallany as Atlas, Kate McKinnon as Aphrodite, Ming-Na Wen as Hera, Hubert Smielecki as Apollo, and Andra Day as Athena. Returning actors include Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, Aryan Simhadri as Grover, and Charlie Bushnell as Luke. Production took place in Vancouver.

At Comic-Con, Scobell shared with fans that this season closely aligns with Riordan’s novels, a sentiment echoed by executive producer Craig Silverstein, who called it the most book-accurate season to date. Executive producer Dan Shotz mentioned that fans can expect to see the Hunters of Artemis, and he also indicated that the story will delve deeper into Annabeth’s journey once she is separated from the group.
The footage shown at the convention began with Thalia fighting a monster in a parking garage, with Percy arriving to assist, and the tension between the two continues from the previous season. A teaser later debuted at D23, featuring Walker Scobell alongside an army of hunters, as well as Ming-Na Wen and Andra Day.
The new poster is likely just the first of several promotional pieces as the premiere approaches. It hints at a narrative with greater stakes and a more mature tone, which the producers have stated is fitting as the characters age. For fans of the books, this marks a pivotal moment where the series transitions from adventure to something more profound.
With the premiere set for November 20, Disney+ seems to be strategically timing the release for the holiday viewing season. Whether the show can fulfill the promise of its coldest and most perilous chapter yet remains to be seen. For now, the artwork has certainly captured attention.
