‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Episode Titles and Release Plan for ‘The Titan’s Curse’
Fans of Rick Riordan’s demigod saga have eagerly anticipated the adaptation of the third book. Now, the episode titles and release schedule for ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ have been revealed, providing an exciting glimpse into the upcoming season.
The series debuted on Disney+ in December 2023, and its quirky, first-person episode titles have become a hallmark of the show. The inaugural episode was titled ‘I Accidentally Vaporize My Pre-Algebra Teacher’, so viewers can expect more of that signature humor in this season.
Season 3 is based on ‘The Titan’s Curse’, the third installment of Riordan’s beloved series. This marks the first adaptation of this particular book, and Disney+ has hinted at a darker tone for the storyline.
In this season, Annabeth is captured by Kronos’s forces, prompting Percy to embark on a dangerous rescue mission. He must free a chained goddess, confront the Titan’s curse, and navigate the potential downfall of Olympus. The Oracle of Delphi will also deliver the Great Prophecy, which will influence Olympus’s fate.

The exciting announcement was made at New York Comic Con, where series star Walker Scobell took the stage for an exclusive sneak peek and discussion with moderator Damian Holbrook. He revealed that the season will kick off with a two-episode premiere on November 20, followed by two new episodes each week on Disney+ and Hulu.
Here’s the complete schedule for the eight-episode season:
- November 20: ‘My Rescue Operation Goes Very Wrong’ and ‘An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit’
- November 27: ‘I Learn How to Grow Zombies’ and ‘We Visit the Junkyard of the Gods’
- December 4: ‘I Have a Dam Problem’ and ‘I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin’
- December 11: ‘I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds’ and ‘The Gods Vote How to Kill Us’
This means the season finale will air on December 11, providing a quicker viewing experience than a traditional weekly rollout.
The first episode title sets the stakes high: Percy’s rescue mission does not go as planned. ‘An Old Dead Friend Comes to Visit’ hints at supernatural elements, while the titles involving zombies and junkyards promise some of the show’s most bizarre mythology yet.
The clever pun in ‘I Have a Dam Problem’ and the festive title ‘I Wrestle Santa’s Evil Twin’ indicate that the series retains its humor, even as the narrative grows darker. Fans will likely speculate about ‘I Put on a Few Million Extra Pounds’, which sounds foreboding given the curse central to the book.
The finale’s title, ‘The Gods Vote How to Kill Us’, suggests a divided Olympus regarding the heroes’ fate, setting up a thrilling conclusion.

At San Diego Comic-Con in July, Disney+ confirmed the November 20 premiere date and showcased the opening minutes of the season. The footage featured Thalia Grace, played by Tamara Smart, fighting a monster in a parking garage, with Percy arriving to assist, though Thalia insists she can handle it alone.
The preview also emphasized the ongoing tension between Percy and Thalia, following the events of Season 2, and sets the stage for the narrative focus of ‘The Titan’s Curse’.
The Hall H panel included Scobell, Aryan Simhadri, Charlie Bushnell, Smart, Levi Chrisopulos, and Olive Abercrombie, along with executive producers Craig Silverstein and Dan Shotz. Leah Sava Jeffries, who portrays Annabeth, was unable to attend due to overseas commitments but shared a video message to introduce the footage.

The release strategy places new episodes right in the heart of the holiday season. With two episodes airing weekly for four weeks, the show is set to dominate fan discussions from late November through mid-December.
This approach aligns perfectly with a story that begins with a kidnapping and culminates in a divine vote on the heroes’ destinies. The binge-friendly format suits a season where the stakes continually rise.
With the episode titles now confirmed and the premiere just around the corner, the countdown to ‘The Titan’s Curse’ has officially begun.
