Celebrity-founded intimates brands have become a staple in the fashion industry, following the footsteps of successful names like Savage x Fenty and Skims. This trend highlights a broader shift towards comfort and self-expression, with more stars eager to join the movement. Among them, Sydney Sweeney has made a significant impact.

Her label, SYRN, made its debut in January 2026 with a collection titled Seductress, featuring a bold marketing stunt that involved placing bras on the Hollywood Sign. Footage captured a crew scaling the iconic landmark at night, and the images quickly went viral on social media before sales even commenced. The initial drop reportedly sold out within hours.

Now, nine months later, the brand remains a hot topic. Sweeney recently shared a cozy mirror selfie promoting SYRN, showcasing a more relaxed vibe compared to the brand’s launch imagery. In the photo, she wears an oversized navy sweatshirt layered over a gray tee, paired with navy sleep shorts trimmed in white and adorned with a small logo, all set against a backdrop of a closet filled with jackets.

This look aligns with the brand’s evolving direction. The latest collection, Send Nudes, features 18 pieces in four nude shades, including everyday bras and panties, lace lingerie, a bodysuit, and relaxed loungewear. Standout loungewear items include the Lazy Mid Rise Sleep Short for $39 and the Keepsake Cropped Cardigan, adorned with scalloped edges and a tiny bow, priced at $59.

This new tone is a departure from the sheer lace and corsetry of the brand’s early offerings. Earlier this year, SYRN also launched a Comfy collection made from seamless stretch fabric, designed for those cozy moments. The mirror selfie suggests that the brand aims to be part of your entire day, not just your lingerie drawer.

SYRN was built around four distinct moods: Seductress, Romantic, Playful, and Comfy. The Comfy collection marked the end of the launch on March 4, and since then, the label has continued to release new drops. The Campus Crush line, inspired by varsity styles with a focus on comfort, debuted in August, followed by a sheer ‘Blue Ditsy’ set in September.

Sizing has been a crucial aspect of SYRN’s appeal. The brand offers 44 bra sizes, ranging from 30B to 42DDD, with most styles priced under $100 and new panties available at three for $39. Sweeney expressed to Elle her desire to create a brand that “understands women instead of talking at them.”

However, not everything has gone smoothly. An August report indicated that the brand faced challenges in maintaining its initial momentum, with sources suggesting that meetings were being held to strategize on improving sales. These claims remain unverified, and SYRN has not publicly acknowledged any financial or sales issues.

Critics have also noted that the brand’s marketing tends to be heavily sexualized and focused on Sweeney herself. This is a common challenge for celebrity brands, which must convert an initial surge of attention into lasting loyalty. Despite this, Sweeney continues to promote the label as it navigates its first year.

SYRN is just one aspect of Sweeney’s busy schedule. She is currently back on set for ‘The Housemaid’s Secret’, the sequel to her box office hit, set to open in theaters on December 17, 2027. The first film grossed nearly $400 million worldwide on a $35 million budget.

It’s a remarkable balancing act for Sweeney as she juggles acting, producing, and running a fashion label, all while building a business empire alongside her film career. The cozy mirror selfie may seem like a small moment, but it reflects her intentional efforts to shape SYRN’s identity.

With the holiday season approaching, fans can expect more drops and campaigns from SYRN. If the loungewear initiative proves successful, the brand could expand beyond lingerie into everyday essentials that many celebrity brands rely on for consistent sales. The question remains whether SYRN can sustain its growth beyond the initial excitement.
