A fresh trailer has dropped for ‘A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder’ season 2. The series features Emma Myers as Pip Fitz-Amobi, a teenager who previously cracked a major case and is now drawn into another intriguing mystery.

This new season adapts the second book in Holly Jackson’s series, titled “Good Girl, Bad Blood.” It is set to premiere on Netflix on May 27 and will consist of six episodes, each approximately 45 minutes long.

In this installment, Pip aims to leave her detective days behind after the events of season 1. Having solved the case of Andie Bell and Sal Singh, she hopes to move forward with her life. However, her plans change dramatically when a new disappearance occurs.

The trailer features Pip stating, “I’m ready for this to be over. No more murder.” This line reflects her desire to step away from investigations, but the situation quickly escalates when another case arises in her town.

Pip’s friend Ravi Singh, portrayed by Zain Iqbal, returns, but the stakes rise when Connor Reynolds informs Pip that his brother Jamie has gone missing. This revelation sets the stage for the central mystery of the new season.

Pip later articulates the situation, saying, “Jamie’s giving evidence in Max’s trial, and then he goes missing two days before the trial starts. Well, this has to be connected somehow.” The trailer hints that she suspects the disappearance is linked to the ongoing court case.

The character Max Hastings, played by Henry Ashton, is also featured prominently. During his trial, he faces serious allegations and tells Pip, “It’s your word against mine.”

As the investigation intensifies, Pip feels the pressure mounting. She receives a chilling warning that reads, “Who will look for you when you disappear?” which adds a layer of danger to the unfolding case.

Other familiar faces returning include Asha Banks, along with several supporting characters who enrich the narrative surrounding Pip’s investigations.

The trailer concludes with high-stakes moments, including a thrilling car chase and Pip grappling with the stress of the case. It promises that season 2 will be more intense, with elevated stakes and a deeper personal impact on Pip as she navigates yet another disappearance.
