Actor Adam Mondschein has spoken out regarding the legal turmoil between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, following their recent settlement related to ‘It Ends With Us.’

In an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored, Mondschein, who played a doctor in one of the film’s most notable scenes, defended Baldoni while criticizing Lively’s actions during the public legal dispute.

Mondschein expressed that the situation had a significant impact on Baldoni both personally and professionally, asserting that Baldoni was treated unfairly throughout the ordeal.

“I have very firm feelings about the actions that she took,” Mondschein stated during the interview. “She hurt my friend and has been hurting my friend.”

Piers Morgan also shared his perspective, siding with Baldoni and stating, “I don’t have a shred of sympathy. I think this is entirely self-inflicted.”

These comments emerged shortly after it was announced that Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni had reached a legal settlement, concluding months of courtroom battles associated with the 2024 film adaptation of ‘It Ends With Us.’ Reports indicate that the agreement was finalized just weeks before the case was set to go to trial in New York.

Although the case has officially been resolved, some legal matters may still persist. According to court documents obtained by TMZ and reports from Rolling Stone, Lively retains the right to seek attorney fees and damages related to Baldoni’s dismissed defamation lawsuit against her.

Lively’s legal team described the settlement as a significant victory. In a statement shared with Rolling Stone, her attorneys Michael Gottlieb and Esra Hudson remarked, “By agreeing to this settlement, and waiving their right to appeal, Justin Baldoni and every individual defendant now face personal liability for abusing the legal system to silence and intimidate Ms. Lively.”

They further added, “From day one Blake Lively’s mission was clear: expose and hold accountable those who weaponize smear campaigns and retaliatory lawsuits to intimidate and silence survivors.”

The legal conflict began in late 2024 when Lively accused Baldoni of sexual harassment and fostering a toxic environment during production. Her lawsuit included allegations of inappropriate conversations, uncomfortable on-set situations, and claimed retaliation after tensions became public.

Baldoni vehemently denied the allegations and subsequently filed a countersuit against Lively, accusing her of defamation and interference with the film. That countersuit was ultimately dismissed by a judge. Baldoni had also initiated a separate lawsuit against The New York Times regarding its coverage of the situation, which was also dismissed.

Interestingly, despite publicly supporting Baldoni, Mondschein expressed some sympathy for Lively. “I feel sorry for her, ultimately,” he shared. “I can’t imagine what it must be like to be inside of her mind.”

This entire situation has become one of Hollywood’s most significant entertainment stories over the past year, particularly given the film’s major release. Public reactions have been mixed, with fans taking sides throughout the legal dispute.

While the courtroom battle may have concluded, the fallout surrounding ‘It Ends With Us’ continues to fuel public discourse and interviews. Many are now questioning whether the cast and filmmakers will ever fully move past the controversy linked to the movie.

It seems this situation has evolved into something much larger than the film itself. What began as behind-the-scenes tension escalated into a very public and emotional conflict that impacted reputations across the board. Now that the legal battle is coming to a close, many fans are hopeful that everyone involved can finally move on. What are your thoughts on the Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni situation?
