Adria Arjona Shares Stunning Training Videos for ‘Man of Tomorrow’
Adria Arjona recently took to Instagram to share updates from the set of Man of Tomorrow, where filming is currently in progress. In her latest post, she showcased her intense training regimen with personal trainer Paolo Mascitti, featuring a video of her performing heavy weight exercises, captured from behind. The clip was set to the iconic song “Crazy Train” by Ozzy Osbourne.
She also posted a mirror selfie alongside Mascitti, where they posed in front of a slightly marked mirror with some numbers scribbled on it. This image was shared by Mascitti on his account as well, indicating they were both documenting their training session.

These updates come as production on Man of Tomorrow is actively taking place across various locations, including Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia, the United Kingdom, and Cincinnati, Ohio. Filming commenced recently and is expected to continue until mid-2026.
Arjona’s role in the film has garnered significant attention, as she is set to portray Maxima, a character from DC Comics. Maxima is depicted as the queen of the planet Almerac, often characterized as a powerful and assertive ruler who believes she is destined to find a strong mate, frequently linked to Superman.
In the comics, she is initially introduced as a formidable ruler, but her character has evolved over time to include more heroic traits, even joining the Justice League in some iterations.
The film centers on Superman and Lex Luthor, who must join forces when a greater threat emerges. This threat is Brainiac, a highly intelligent alien android known as one of Superman’s most formidable foes in DC lore. The premise hints at a narrative where traditional adversaries must cooperate to confront a larger danger.
Fans have speculated whether the movie might draw inspiration from the comic storyline “Panic in the Sky,” where Brainiac launches an invasion and several heroes unite to thwart him. Maxima plays a role in this storyline, sometimes switching allegiances during the conflict. Although there is no official confirmation that the film will follow this plot, fans have noted intriguing parallels based on the available information.
Man of Tomorrow is part of the new DC Universe strategy spearheaded by James Gunn, who is both writing and directing the film. This project follows the upcoming Superman film featuring David Corenswet as Clark Kent / Superman and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor. The cast also includes Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Isabela Merced, Frank Grillo, María Gabriela de Faría, Sara Sampaio, Milly Alcock, Lars Eidinger, and Aaron Pierre.
Production was announced in phases, with Gunn confirming work on a sequel to Superman in mid-2025. Additional casting updates and story details emerged later that year. Filming officially began in April, marking the start of an extensive shoot across multiple countries.
Man of Tomorrow is currently slated for release on July 9, 2027, via Warner Bros. Pictures. It is part of the DCU’s Chapter One: Gods and Monsters storyline, which aims to establish a connected universe of films and characters.
For now, Arjona’s training posts provide fans with a glimpse into the preparation happening behind the scenes as filming progresses across various locations.
