The narrative follows Prince Adam, portrayed by Nicholas Galitzine, who returns to his home planet Eternia after a lengthy absence. Travis Knight then took the helm as director, succeeding earlier plans that involved different filmmakers.
Filming occurred in London from January to June 2025. The movie premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre on May 18 and is set for theatrical release in the United States on June 5, with international distribution managed by Sony Pictures Releasing International.
The film’s plot centers on Prince Adam’s return to Eternia after a 15-year absence. He discovers a devastated world ruled by Skeletor and must reconnect with his past to become He-Man. Alongside Teela and Man-At-Arms, he fights for control of Castle Grayskull and the protection of the universe.
