‘Anaconda’ Star Daniela Melchior Showcases Casual Cowboy-Boot Style
Daniela Melchior has been enjoying her time at home in Portugal, and her recent photos reveal a relaxed side of the actress. These images highlight her journey since her breakout role in ‘The Suicide Squad’ and come as she prepares for an exciting lineup of upcoming projects.
The actress recently shared a fresh collection of images on her Instagram account, much to the delight of her fans, showcasing a casual yet stylish look.

The highlight of her outfit is a fitted white ribbed tank top paired with light-wash denim shorts featuring a distressed, frayed hem. This simple ensemble allows her footwear to take center stage.
She completes the look with tall gray-and-black cowboy boots adorned with embroidered detailing, adding a western flair. Tortoiseshell-style sunglasses and a small black shoulder bag round out her outfit. Melchior accessorizes with a stack of bracelets and wristbands, a watch, and rings on her fingers, while her long dark hair flows freely.
One of her most anticipated projects is ‘Violent Night 2’, set to be released by Universal on December 4 in the United States, with a premiere in Portuguese cinemas on December 3. David Harbour reprises his role as the tough Santa Claus, while Kristen Bell returns as Mrs. Claus.
Details about Melchior’s role remain under wraps. Tommy Wirkola returns as director, and the cast includes Jared Harris, Joe Pantoliano, Maxwell Friedman, and Andrew Bachelor. The film was shot in Winnipeg in September and October of last year.
A teaser trailer was released in August, hinting at a plot where Santa finds himself trapped in a shopping mall after losing his powers. The writers have teased a touch of Western influence in the sequel, which aligns perfectly with Melchior’s cowboy boots.
Staying close to her roots, Melchior stars in ‘A Night in Porto’, a romantic dramedy filmed in the Portuguese city. She stars alongside Corey Mylchreest as two former lovers who unexpectedly reconnect on Christmas night, prompting a reflection on whether life offers second chances at happiness.
The script is penned by Antonio Sequeira, who co-directs with Anastasiia Vorotniuk. The film runs approximately 100 minutes and is produced by Kurious Studios in collaboration with Porto’s Homnage Films and Pris Audiovisuais. Melchior and Mylchreest also serve as executive producers. Reports indicate a Christmas release is targeted for this year.
Additionally, Melchior is lending her voice to the animated musical ‘Viana the Legend of the Golden Hearts’. She portrays Princess Ana, a lovestruck noblewoman embarking on a challenging journey for love with a poor artisan named Thomas. This project marks a departure for the actress, who is typically known for her roles in action and comedy.
These upcoming titles follow a busy period for Melchior. ‘Anaconda’ premiered on December 25 last year alongside Paul Rudd and Jack Black, while ‘Balls Up’ debuted on Prime Video on April 15, receiving mixed reviews. She also featured in the mystery thriller ‘American Sweatshop’ in 2025.
With a Christmas slasher sequel, a Portuguese romance, and an animated musical on her slate, Melchior’s schedule showcases her versatility across genres, balancing projects between Hollywood and her home country.
