Marvel enthusiasts might soon get their first glimpse of ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ ahead of schedule.

The excitement surrounding the movie’s initial trailer surged online after remarks from Donald Mustard, the former creative director of Fortnite and now part of the Russo brothers’ production company, AGBO. As reported by IGN, Mustard recently shared a post on X that piqued the interest of Marvel fans.

In his post, Mustard mentioned an upcoming event in London starting at 10 a.m. local time. However, the real buzz came from his reference to a “surprise at 2 p.m.” Although he did not clarify what this surprise entails, many fans speculated it might be linked to ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’

The anticipation has intensified as ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ directors Joe and Anthony Russo are set to appear at the SXSW London 2026 festival tomorrow, with Mustard also participating as part of AGBO.

As soon as Mustard’s post went live, fans began speculating that Marvel Studios might use the event to unveil the first trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday.’ While there has been no official confirmation, many believe the signs are aligning.

This latest speculation follows another enigmatic tease from the Russo brothers. They recently shared an image that was entirely green, leaving fans puzzled. However, subsequent teaser images suggested that the green hue was related to Latveria, the fictional realm governed by Doctor Doom in Marvel Comics.

The symbol associated with Doctor Doom has also been noted in connection with the teaser campaign, leading many fans to suspect that Marvel is gearing up to spotlight the iconic villain as the marketing for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ intensifies.

Despite the excitement, questions linger about whether Marvel would choose a festival in London to debut such a significant trailer. Some fans speculate that the studio might reserve the footage for its Hall H presentation at San Diego Comic-Con next month, a major platform in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, with ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ set to release before ‘Avengers: Doomsday,’ it could be the next Marvel project to showcase a new trailer. This adds to the uncertainty surrounding what the surprise announcement might entail.

For now, Marvel Studios remains tight-lipped, leaving fans to ponder. Whether it turns out to be a full trailer, a teaser, new footage, or simply another reveal related to Doctor Doom, the anticipation for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ continues to build.

According to IGN, all eyes will be on tomorrow’s event as fans eagerly await to see if Marvel finally unveils one of the most anticipated superhero films in recent history.

‘Avengers: Doomsday’ is currently slated to hit theaters on December 18, with ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ following on December 17, 2027.
