‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 12 Release Date and Crossover Details Revealed

Bravo has officially announced that ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ will be back for another season, and this new chapter introduces a first for both franchises. The network revealed that the cast of ‘Summer House’ will join the yacht as charter guests, a surprise that few fans anticipated.

The upcoming season of ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ is already in progress, with cameras rolling while the previous season was still airing. Here’s everything we know so far about the crew, the yacht, the guests, and the timing.

Yes, there will be another season. Bravo shared the news on August 6 through an Instagram post featuring Captain Sandy Yawn and chief stew Aesha Scott welcoming several stars from ‘Summer House’ aboard the yacht.

This crossover is significant for both shows. According to Bravo, the ‘Summer House’ cast will embark on their first charter, while the ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ crew will take on its inaugural Bravo crossover charter.

The announcement has sparked speculation about further connections between Bravo franchises. If this charter is successful, the yacht may not be the only thing that stays afloat.

Some cast members are already confirmed. Captain Sandy will return to lead the crew, and Aesha is back as chief stew, a role she has held since season nine. However, the full crew has yet to be announced.

Fans are piecing together information from leaked images. Photos circulating on Reddit appear to show Chef Joy and a person identified as the alleged bosun, Joe Bradley. Another image reportedly features Katie Flood, the chief stew from season six. However, none of this has been officially confirmed by Bravo, so it remains speculative for now.

Joy and Joe are both familiar faces from the current season, alongside bosun Nathan Gallagher and Aesha. A returning crew could lead to a very different dynamic once the guests arrive.

The guest list is equally intriguing. The ‘Summer House’ cast members joining the crossover include Jesse Solomon, Mia Calabrese, Lindsay Hubbard, Ciara Miller, Carl Radke, Kyle Cooke, and Bailey Taylor. KJ Dillard is also set to return for the new season of ‘Summer House’, according to Bravo.

Filming is rumored to take place in Greece, as suggested by fans. A spoiler on Reddit indicates that the crew will be sailing around the Ionian Islands, particularly Corfu. This detail has not been officially confirmed.

It seems the yacht has also changed. The crew appears to be filming aboard the motor yacht Zaliv III, which is slightly smaller than the vessel used in the previous season. Like the current yacht, it accommodates up to 12 guests in 6 cabins.

This change in scenery could significantly alter the series’ vibe. The current season is set against the vibrant backdrop of Barcelona, while island hopping around Corfu would provide a fresh feel for the new season.

As for the ‘Below Deck Mediterranean’ Season 12 release date, there is no premiere date yet. Bravo has confirmed that the new season and the special crossover episode with ‘Summer House’ will air in 2027, but an air date for either has not been announced.

Looking at the show’s historical patterns gives some clues. The series typically premieres in the summer or early fall months, although the current season is airing in fall 2026 on Mondays at 8 p.m. ET. New episodes are available for streaming on Peacock, so viewers should know where to look when the next charter season is ready.

For now, fans can stay tuned to Bravo’s social channels for casting news and trailers. With Captain Sandy and Aesha hosting the ‘Summer House’ crew on a superyacht, which guest do you think will challenge this crew’s patience first?
