The statement reveals that new stories featuring Cal Kestis are currently in the works. Introduced in the video game Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Cal has quickly become one of the most beloved modern characters in the Star Wars timeline. He is often depicted as a red-haired Jedi survivor who evaded the Jedi Purge and continues to resist the Empire across various eras of the galaxy.

During the discussion, the Lucasfilm representative emphasized that the company views Cal as a crucial part of the franchise’s future. The representative stated, “Never say never. We’ve got his lightsaber in the park.
