Chip Zdarsky Trolls Fans With Hilarious Marvel/DC Crossover Tease

Marvel and DC are teaming up for a big event, Deadpool and Batman are finally meeting on the page. Two special one-shot comics are on the way: Deadpool/Batman by Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo, and Batman/Deadpool by Grant Morrison and Dan Mora.
This is the first time Marvel and DC heroes are crossing over since JLA/Avengers in 2003. It doesn’t happen often, and both companies say it takes a lot of planning and the right timing to make something like this work.
Now there are rumors that more crossovers are on the way, none of which are confirmed as of now. But Chip Zdarsky, who joined the creative team for Deadpool/Batman #1 recently teased the crossover with a funny joke post.
The image shows a screenplay titled MARVEL/DC CROSSOVER “FEIGUNN” and showcases what appears to be an uncomfortable exchange between the heads of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige, and newly established DC Studios, James Gunn.
The page is filled with references to their previous collaboration and with references to Gunn’s possible upcoming works.

We’re looking forward to more potential crossovers in the comic book world, but we’re also open to the idea of cinematic crossovers.
James Gunn confirmed last year that some discussions have taken place about the two universes crossing over on screen. However, these talks are most likely casual and theoretical for now. We’re still a long way from having a fully formed Justice League in the DCU, and the MCU doesn’t currently have a clear new lineup of Avengers, unless you count the New Avengers.
