DC x Sonic The Hedgehog Toy Line Arrives Fall 2025
Big news for fans of Sonic the Hedgehog and DC Comics! A new toy line is on the way, bringing characters from both worlds together. This crossover collection will hit store shelves and online retailers in Fall 2025.
Back in 2024, Sega shared that it was teaming up with DC Comics to create a special comic book series. In this series, Sonic and his friends take on the roles of famous superheroes like Batman and Superman. Sega also said the partnership would continue into 2025 and 2026.
Now, there’s an exciting update. Sega has announced it’s working with toy company JAKKS Pacific to create a brand-new line of toys based on this DC and Sonic crossover event.
Here’s what fans can expect, according to the official press release:
“The toy line will feature fan-favorite characters from both franchises, including Sonic, Shadow, Tails, alongside members of DC’s Justice League including Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, reimagined in bold, action-packed crossover designs. From articulated action figures to vehicles and plush, this dynamic collection will celebrate the heroic energy and visual excitement of both brands.“
That means you’ll be able to get your hands on action figures, plush toys, and even vehicles featuring Sonic characters dressed like DC superheroes, and vice versa!
This toy line follows the start of the official comic series, which launched in March 2025. The comic features Team Sonic and the Justice League teaming up to stop the powerful villain Darkseid, who travels across dimensions to attack Sonic’s world.
The story is written by Ian Flynn, who is known for his work on the Sonic the Hedgehog comics, with art by Adam Bryce Thomas. The five-part series releases monthly through July 2025.
With this new toy line, fans can bring the action-packed crossover from the comics into real life. Whether you’re a longtime Sonic fan, a DC superhero lover, or both, there’s something exciting coming your way next fall.
