Natsuki Hanae, who voices the main character Tanjiro Kamado in the Japanese version, recently revealed that the voice cast has already finished recording for the Infinity Castle Arc.
Speaking at a special screening of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train, Hanae said, “It’s truly something incredible.”
This update is a big deal for fans, as it means that not just the first part, but the entire movie trilogy is complete in terms of voice recording. The first installment of the trilogy is set to release on September 12, 2025, in North America, following its Japanese debut on July 18, 2025.
During the event, Hanae also spoke about Mugen Train being shown again in theaters. He shared how emotional it was to see the story and characters again, saying, “Every single scene is tear-worthy.”
He specifically talked about Rengoku, the Flame Hashira, and his lasting impact on Tanjiro and others. “Even when the train is just rolling in the opening scene and I think of Rengoku, I already feel the tears coming,” Hanae admitted. Rengoku’s character continues to influence Tanjiro, even long after his tragic fate in the 2020 movie.
Satoshi Hino, who voices Rengoku, also shared his feelings. He agreed with Hanae, pointing out that even characters like Tengen Uzui and Mitsuri Kanroji still speak fondly of Rengoku. “Just like Tanjiro, I feel that Rengoku is a huge presence in my life,” Hanae added. The emotional impact of Rengoku’s story remains strong among both the characters and the voice actors.
With the recording finished and the first movie set for release soon, fans can expect to see the epic conclusion of Demon Slayer’s story in the Infinity Castle Arc movies. The heartfelt words from the cast only add to the excitement.
